At noon the next day, Godfrey stood before Amazon General Hospital, the largest hospital in Amazon City, known for its exquisite design and immense size. It was also one of the most renowned hospitals on the continent and beyond.
Lots of cars were parked outside, and many people walked in and out. Some ambulances drove in, rushing patients inside, but Godfrey didn't even seem to notice.
It was as if he walked in his own world, his face void of a smile. He walked through the glass doors, straight to the receptionist.
"I want to see my mother. She's Valentina Daniels."
The receptionist looked up at the golden-haired teen with wide eyes the moment she heard that name. She had been typing on her monitor, preparing to ask her usual questions without even looking, but that name caught her off guard.
"You're Doctor Valentina's son!" she gasped. "Wait a moment, let me make a call."
