The tail slapped the giant water man, splattering water everywhere. King reformed, and the World Serpent lunged after him, destroying everything in its path.
Just the heat emanating from the serpent made the environment uninhabitable. With a loud hiss, it came from above and bit down at King, who was in the midst of water.
It swallowed him along with a great portion of water and earth, but the World Serpent couldn't close its mouth entirely as the Sea King stuck his trident at the edge of its jaws.
Furious, the serpent slammed its head into a building, but King remained adamant. Intense steam billowed off his body due to the heat of the snake's mouth.
'You think that will save you?!' Leander roared as he fused with his serpent, forcing the jaws of his summon down. The trident began to tilt as it slowly caved under the pressure.
