Lucy stood outside the headmistress' office, inhaling and exhaling as she prepared her mind to face the current head of Manhattan Summoners High.
Edwin stepped out. "You can go in," he said, and walked away.
'I voted against our students joining that mission, and now we've had the biggest loss. Their parents can't vent toward the Authorities, so they've faced us. At this rate, Manhattan will lose its reputation.'
He said inwardly.
There was a reason the school always kept the students in a controlled space while giving them a taste of the violence the outside world experienced on a daily basis.
Beyond that reason of allowing the students to filter themselves, the school wanted to maintain its rating, so the strong couldn't be punished much, or they'll lose them, and that might lead to a drop in the rating. Once that happens, another school would gain the resources.
