Chapter 51 - Chapter 51: Snake Sea Madness

"They should be around here!"

After some searching, George noticed the arrow kept deflecting within a hundred-meter radius nearby. So, he had Isa make the plane invisible and hover in the air, then he jumped directly from the plane.

"Found it."

Hovering above a valley next to the desert, George used his binoculars to spot a crude Military Base built next to a cave within the valley.

Outside the Base, there were piles of various shells marked with the Stark Industries logo, and Terrorists, simply dressed but armed with various firearms, patrolled the area.

George didn't immediately attack. Instead, he quietly landed near the valley under the cover of night, found a suitable sniping spot, and then took off the sniper rifle he was carrying on his back.

He wasn't sure if there were any hidden Shadow guards in the corners near the valley, in addition to the visible guards.

If he directly went down and attacked, the visible guards would naturally be no match for him, but if there were hidden Shadow guards who jointly sniped him, he estimated he would have difficulty reacting.

It was a pity he still didn't know the Disillusionment Charm, an advanced spell only taught in higher grades; otherwise, he could just go in invisibly, and no one would discover him.

"I need to find a way to make them show themselves."

Putting down his sniper rifle, George thought for a moment, and an idea gradually formed in his mind.

"Serpensortia!"

"Serpensortia!"

"Serpensortia!"

Desert rattlesnakes appeared beside George as he continuously cast the spell.

The power of magic in the Harry Potter World varied depending on each Wizard's mastery of magic.

The same Fire magic: Dumbledore could unleash a sea of Fire, while a young Wizard at school could only produce a tiny flame. The same Curse of Slaying: an adult Wizard's use was a sure kill, while a young Wizard's use would at most make someone bleed from the nose.

However, the magical power of Wizards in the Harry Potter World was all the same; there were no restrictions.

If you persisted, even continuously casting magic would not result in running out of magical power.

At most, long periods of casting magic would make your body feel a bit tired; after all, even just standing there waving your arms continuously would be unbearable, but as long as you had willpower, casting magic for twenty-four hours was not impossible.

For specific reasons, George's current magic level was unclear.

He guessed either the Wizard Bloodline could convert external energy into magical power, so his own magical power was inexhaustible.

Or, the Wizard Bloodline regenerated magical power incredibly fast, like a Mage in a game whose magical power regeneration speed was increased by a hundred times, so his magical power would automatically refill before it ran out.

But that wasn't his concern right now.

Currently, he was exploiting the inexhaustible nature of his Wizard Bloodline's magical power to continuously cast the snake summoning spell, building an army of venomous snakes.

"I truly am worthy of being a student of Slytherin."

Looking at the thousands of desert rattlesnakes flicking their tongues in front of him, George stretched his somewhat sore arms, feeling his throat a bit hoarse.

Because he was casting spells with hand gestures, he could only cast six or seven snake summoning spells per minute on average. To summon over a thousand desert rattlesnakes, he had to continuously wave his hands and chant spells for more than two hours.

"I need to find a way to learn how to make wands soon."

If he had a wand, he could cast thirty snake summoning spells per minute, summoning a thousand venomous snakes in just over half an hour.

"Go, bite anyone you see!"

Under George's command, thousands of venomous snakes immediately scattered, searching the entire valley from top to bottom.

No matter how secretly those Terrorists hid in the shadows, they absolutely could not escape the search of so many venomous snakes.

As long as they were bitten by a venomous snake, even if they didn't die immediately, they would have to leave their hidden post to receive treatment, and that would be the best time for him to strike.

"Ah, snakes!"

Sure enough, not long after, George heard screams from various corners of the valley. Although he didn't understand what they were saying, they were definitely bitten by the venomous snakes he had summoned.

Immediately after, gunshots rang out. The visible guards below the valley, receiving calls for help, scattered in a hurry to support the hidden sentries besieged by snakes.

At the same time, a small leader inside the cave rushed into the Base leader's bedroom:

"Boss, it's bad! Our brothers outside were bitten by snakes!"

"Idiot! If you're bitten by a snake, hurry up and take medicine! It's not like you haven't been bitten before."

The bald leader, who had thought the Base was discovered by the Military, sprang from his bed. Upon hearing it was just his subordinates bitten by snakes, he angrily kicked the small leader to the ground.

Being bitten by snakes in the desert was common; a folk remedy plus targeted medicine would suffice. Such a small matter actually disturbed his rest; he really had no brains.

"Boss, it's not just one, it's many, many—at least hundreds."

The small leader got up, explaining somewhat aggrieved.

The bald leader was stunned on the spot upon hearing this:

"Hundreds? Are you sure you're not joking?"

It's normal to have snakes in the desert, but hundreds? Even if you poked a snake pit, there wouldn't be that many.

However, he quickly accepted reality, because after opening the monitor to the outside of the cave, the dense swarm of snakes attacking his subordinates on the monitor made his scalp tingle.

"Leave two to guard Tony Stark. The rest of you, take flamethrowers and come out with me. We'll eat roasted snake tomorrow morning!"

The leader was indeed a leader. Although his scalp tingled, he quickly came up with a counter-strategy.

Using guns to deal with snakes was like using a cannon to kill a mosquito—you couldn't hit it, and you'd likely get bitten all over. It was best to use flamethrowers.

At this time, Tony Stark inside the cave was also startled by the commotion outside. He wanted to look through the crack in the door but was fiercely cursed back by the two guards at the iron door.

More than two months ago, he was kidnapped by a group of Terrorists while accompanying the Military in testing his latest-developed mass-destruction missiles.

In the chaos, his body was injured by the shells he developed. Thanks to Doctor Ethan, who was also kidnapped, he managed to survive.

Through Ethan, he learned that the weapons he developed, originally meant to protect the country, had become executioners of innocent lives. He also learned that the reason he wasn't killed by the Terrorists was that they wanted to use him to build the most advanced missiles to rule the World.

These revelations once made him collapse and want to commit suicide.

Finally, some words from Ethan enlightened him, reigniting his hope to live and leading him to modify a simplified Arc Reactor and begin designing his first Iron Man Suit.

"Don't worry, it shouldn't be directed at us. It seems they have some problem outside themselves."

"That's good then."

Hearing Tony's words, Ethan also breathed a sigh of relief.

They had already started building the Iron Man Suit components. If they were discovered, it would truly be a dead end.

Outside the cave, watching the venomous snakes gradually disappear under the flamethrowers, and the hidden sentries being carried into the cave one by one, George quietly set up his sniper rifle.

"I didn't expect this leader to come out himself. Well, he'll be the first."
