Chapter 62 - Chapter 62: A New Magical World

George's idea was simple: joining the England Quidditch Team now would boost his fame, but he didn't want to waste time training and competing, so he pushed it to his fourth year.

By his fourth year, Lord Voldemort would have emerged, and once the Wizarding World was in chaos, there would be no need to genuinely waste time on Quidditch training.

It was a win-win situation.

"If you don't agree, then forget it."

Seeing Ludo hesitate, George lowered his head to look at the magic book again.

Upon seeing this, Ludo didn't dare to hesitate any longer and quickly nodded, saying:

"Agreed, agreed! I'll go find your Principal about this right now, and we'll sign the contract today."

Fourth year it is; better than nothing.

He could immediately go back and widely publicize this matter, letting everyone know that he had signed a talented player for the England team, so that others in the Ministry of Magic would not be able to criticize him anymore.

The next day, at breakfast, owls flocked into the Great Hall as usual, delivering items to the young Wizards.

However, not long after, several exclamations echoed throughout the Great Hall.

"George, you've been accepted into the England Quidditch Team!"

"Oh, look what it says here: 'The Head of the Department of Magical Games and Sports announced that he has discovered a once-in-a-millennium Quidditch prodigy from Hogwarts, who scored thirty goals in Quidditch matches in his first year alone, with talent far surpassing Viktor Krum of the Bulgarian National Quidditch Team.' George, isn't he talking about you?!"

"Look at the back of the newspaper, there's a group photo of George, Ludo, Professor Snape, and Dumbledore!"

The young Wizards who subscribed to The Daily Prophet quickly discovered today's headline, which caused a stir among all the young Wizards in the Great Hall.

After enduring a barrage of a hundred thousand questions, George finally managed to escape the starry-eyed young Wizards and leave the Great Hall.

He could only be grateful that it was Sunday today; if it were Monday, there would be even more young Wizards, and he wouldn't have been able to escape so quickly.

In the afternoon, while the entire school was abuzz with the news of George's acceptance into the England Quidditch Team, the second attack occurred.

Colin Creevey, a Muggle-born, suffered the same attack as Madam Norris, petrified and sent to a bed in the Hospital Wing.

Immediately, rumors flew everywhere, everyone was suspicious, and many young Wizards began to move in groups of three or five, fearing that they would become the next target of attack.

George still did not inquire about this, merely visiting the petrified Colin in the Hospital Wing as a friend.

With Dumbledore, the legendary Wizard, present, it was impossible for the Basilisk to truly kill the young Wizards; his inaction was merely to train Harry, the future savior.

He certainly didn't believe that Dumbledore would be completely unaware of such a large Basilisk attacking people in Hogwarts Castle.

Because of Colin's attack, Harry and his two friends became even more certain of their suspicion that Malfoy might be the heir.

To prevent other Muggle-born Wizards from encountering danger, Hermione officially began brewing Polyjuice Potion in Myrtle's bathroom; George did not get involved and continued to focus on studying magic as usual.

Time continued until the second week of December, when Professor Snape came to the common room to collect the list of students staying at school for Christmas.

George did not sign the list; he did not plan to stay at school for Christmas, as he wanted to return to Diagon Alley to learn how to make wands.

During this time, he had been self-studying wand-making knowledge in the library, but there were many aspects he didn't understand, and there were no Professors at the school who were particularly skilled in this area.

So he planned to go back to Ollivander, the professional wand-making master, for lessons during Christmas.

At worst, he would just pay more tuition.

If he didn't learn to make wands sooner, it would be difficult to use magic as his primary combat method in the Marvel Universe.

The speed of gesture casting was still too slow; combat happens in an instant, and there isn't that much time for you to slowly cast spells.

Only by creating a high-quality wand in the Marvel Universe could he unleash his true full magical power.

However, to his surprise, another major event occurred that night.

In the Marvel Universe, George was practicing casting the Freezing Spell in the Mutant combat simulation room when his body suddenly stiffened, and a familiar sharp pain swept through him.

"I split again?"

After the sharp pain, feeling that he had gained a new perspective, George couldn't help but let out a sigh of wonder.

In fact, he had originally guessed that his ability to split his soul might not be limited to just once.

"Let's check out the new clone and World!"

Shifting his attention to the new perspective, six years of memories began to flash one by one in his mind.

This time, his clone was not a person, but a cat, though not an ordinary cat; it was a magic cat with magic, innate flying magic, and the ability to speak.

The cat's name was Jin Jin, and because its fur was entirely golden, at first glance, it looked like a small lion cub.

Six years ago, Jin Jin hatched from an egg in a forest—that's right, you heard correctly, it hatched from an egg. This species, unlike normal cats, is oviparous rather than viviparous.

Soon after birth, it awakened its racial talent, able to fly using "Wing" magic, thus successfully surviving in the forest.

Around the age of three, he began to ponder his origins, wanting to find his parents, so he flew out of the forest for the first time and ventured into the outside World.

After about three years of wandering, it gained a general understanding of its World.

This World is called Earthland, a World full of magic, ruled by humans.

magic has permeated every household in this World; basically, even ordinary commoners who don't study magic will use some magic items, and there are various magic shops on the streets.

The most distinctive features are the Magicians and the Magician Guilds scattered throughout various cities.

Magicians are people who learn magic and use it for combat, and Magician Guilds, in George's view, are like mercenary guilds, accepting quests to earn commissions, except all mercenaries are Magicians.

Moreover, there are many Magician Guilds in this World, and each guild is equivalent to an independent organization.

During his travels, Jin Jin accidentally learned that there was a guild called "Fairy Tail" in the Fiore Kingdom, which seemed to be one of the strongest Magician Guilds in that country.

Among them was a powerful Magician known as "Dragon," who had a flying, talking cat named Happy.

Jin Jin suspected that Happy was of the same species as him, so he wanted to go to Fairy Tail to find Happy and ask if he could learn about his origins.

Unfortunately, while on his way to Magnolia City, where Fairy Tail was located, he encountered Black Magic Users from a dark guild. Unwilling to be captured as a pet, he eventually died at the hands of those Black Magic Users.

Thus, George's split soul took over the body.
