[Go along the Geer Gorge, there is a Village there.]

[My disciple, Stark is there.]

Eisen sat by the bonfire, his gaze deep.

The firelight gradually faded from his eyes.

Frieren quietly raised her head to look at the bustling Village in front of her, her eyes gradually clearing.

She gently nodded thoughtfully.

"Didn't we hear there was a dragon near the Village?"

A hint of surprise flashed in Fern's eyes, and she looked around curiously, but found that everything around her was a scene of peace and prosperity.

Sunlight filtered through the gaps in the leaves and spilled onto the ground.

Various stalls in the Village were dazzling, with villagers displaying their homegrown fruits, vegetables, and handicrafts, enthusiastically promoting them to passersby.

Children laughed and ran through the streets, playing and frolicking.

Even in a corner of the Village, villagers were singing, dancing, and performing.

"I can see why Eisen used 'seat' when referring to this Village."

Yulian couldn't help but sigh slightly.

The prosperity of this Village was no less than that of a small town.

After sighing, Yulian gently stroked Fern's head again.

He answered Fern's question.

"Perhaps it is because of the existence of a certain person that this place can be peaceful."

Yulian's lips curved up, and the image of that red-haired, funny young man appeared in his mind.

He was really looking forward to it.

"Let's go."

Frieren gently nodded, acknowledging Yulian's words.

"The existence of a certain person?"

Fern stopped in place, still a bit confused.

It wasn't until she realized the two had walked some distance that Fern reacted and jogged to catch up.

"Wait for me, Mr. Yulian, Mistress Frieren!"

"And who is that person!"

[Stark,]

[a coward like me.]

Eisen's voice was full of reminiscence.

[When the Demon invaded the Warrior's Homeland back then, he was the only one who escaped.]

[When I looked at him, it was as if I saw myself,]

[So I taught him all my skills.]

Eisen raised the wine bottle and took a big gulp.

[Now he is like me, already able to fight for others.]

[I see,]

Frieren slightly parted her lips, revealing a faint smile.

[A very excellent warrior.]

In this Village, Stark seemed to be a very famous person.

After casually asking a hawker on the road, everyone learned of Stark's whereabouts.

"Mr. Stark, he wouldn't be the one protecting the peace of the Village, would he?"

Walking on the way to the back mountain, Fern had a vague guess.

"Guess."

Yulian pursed his lips, looking forward to the first meeting between the big tomato and the big puffball.

"It should be."

Frieren no longer kept them in suspense and gently nodded.

Just, what kind of person will he be?

Frieren's emerald-like eyes widened slightly, looking at the mountain gorge outside the distant forest.

Below the gorge, a red-haired young man wearing training clothes was standing quietly, holding a mountain-cleaving axe.

"Mr. Stark, he must be practicing martial arts on the back mountain of the Village!"

These were the hawker's original words.

As expected, upon arriving at the back mountain, they saw the main character.

"Demon."

Stark seemed to sense something and turned back sharply, his keen eyes seemingly wanting to see through everything.

The mountain-cleaving axe in his hand flashed with cold light!

"Me?"

Yulian's mouth formed an 'O' shape, and he pointed at himself uncertainly.

Wasn't I hiding my aura!

"Yulian, don't go over yet."

Frieren hesitated for a moment, then spoke.

"...Alright."

Yulian suppressed the words he wanted to complain about with some frustration and quietly watched Frieren and Fern walk towards Stark.

"Who are you?"

Stark's expression was steady, and he spoke quietly.

"Mage, Frieren."

Fri... eren!

Stark's pupils widened slightly, but quickly returned to normal.

"You are Master's close friend, I know."

Stark nodded gently, but then his gaze swept over Frieren and Fern with ill intent.

"But..."

"Why are you with the Demon?"

Since when did 'Demon' become an insult?

Yulian had excellent hearing, and naturally heard Stark's words without missing a single one.

He couldn't help but feel a bit depressed.

"He is different from other Demons."

Frieren said lightly.

"Mr. Yulian is a good Demon."

Fern also explained.

"Demons, can there be good ones?"

Stark scoffed dismissively.

"Hey..."

"That's enough."

Yulian took a step and slowly approached Stark.

"Stop!"

Stark stood rooted to the spot, unmoving, but shouted in a deep voice.

"Not stopping."

Yulian rolled his eyes and walked straight past Stark.

"Say I'm a bad Demon again and see what happens."

Yulian tilted his head, staring directly at Stark.

"Mr. Yulian!"

Fern shouted worriedly, but was pulled back by Frieren.

"Wait and see."

Frieren said softly, but her gaze was fixed on Stark's uncontrollably trembling legs.

"You!"

Stark stubbornly stared back at Yulian.

However, in less than three seconds, Stark cried out and ran behind Frieren.

"Frieren, help!"

"Quickly get rid of this Demon!"

"No, he is our companion."

Frieren refused decisively.

However, she did not step aside, but looked back at Stark quietly.

"But you don't need to worry..."

"We came to find you to be our companion."

"Companion!"

"Being companions with such a terrifying person!"

Stark was so scared that he couldn't help but jump up and point at Yulian.

But after meeting Yulian's murderous gaze, he quickly hid behind Frieren again.

"Frieren!"

"Coward."

Fern couldn't help but scoff at Stark's appearance.

"Coward!"

Hearing Fern's scoff, Stark seemed to have his fur ruffled and shouted loudly.

"Do you know how strong this Demon is!"

"Ten of me wouldn't be enough for him to beat just one!"

Stark's face was full of grief and indignation.

"My legs are even soft!"

"Wahhh!"

After expressing his grief and indignation, Stark hugged Frieren's leg and started crying, full of grievances.

"Hey, I'm not that scary."

Yulian looked at Stark, who was crying loudly while hugging Frieren's leg, with a dark expression.

I want to hug too, cough cough, no.

How old are you, is this really okay!

And also, am I really that scary!

You've gone too far!

"Forget it, you think about it yourself."

Frieren said helplessly to Stark beside her.

Then she looked at Yulian and Fern again.

"Let's go."

Footsteps sounded, and the three gradually walked away.

"Mistress Frieren, are we just leaving like this?"

Fern looked back at Stark, who was kneeling on the ground in silence, feeling a bit hesitant.

"Isn't it a bit hasty?"

Yulian was also a little uneasy.

Although he did feel that Stark needed a bit of a lesson just now, they had just met.

Furthermore, he was a Demon...

"Come back tomorrow..."

"If he still hasn't figured it out tomorrow, we will leave by ourselves."

Frieren did not look back, her tone always calm.

"This..."

"Alright..."

Seeing this, Fern and Yulian could only agree...
