His early enchantments fizzled or exploded, ruining the items. But each failure gave him a better understanding of what he had to do. Each ruin taught him how the energy wanted to flow, and that increased his levels in the professions.
However, it still wasn't enough to craft equipment he could actually use, but it didn't make a difference. He knew that was going to work in the long run anyway, and he doubted that, if he got back to Earth, he would be able to level up again.
As things stood now, he was far too strong to even earn a single C.L.A.S.P. point from the strongest monster on earth.
Reidar had prioritized his Enchanting and Tailoring. It hadn't been straightforward to level these skills while moving, but the repetition and the use of the many materials he had pushed his proficiencies higher in a relatively short amount of time.
Reidar landed in the shadow of a basalt cliff, ten miles from the city in front of him, and finally checked his progress.
