The ocean waves crashed violently against the shore as rain clouds gathered above the eastern side of the City of Dawn. Sand scattered through the air from the impact of Rein's last movement. Pieces of the shattered thunder hammer still crackled with dying electricity across the battlefield.
Camron rolled across the wet sand coughing blood.
Number 4 crouched several meters away, her monstrous body twitching unnaturally. Her massive ears vibrated constantly, listening to every movement around her. The stitched skin around her mouth stretched wider as distorted sounds echoed from her throat.
Rein slowly rose from the shallow ocean water.
Water dripped from his body.
His muscles tightened beneath his torn shirt as golden dominion energy slowly flowed around him like heat distortion.
Camron gritted his teeth.
"This bastard…"
Rein cracked his neck while walking forward through the water.
Camron suddenly roared and pushed himself forward.
Lightning exploded around his body.
He swung the thunder hammer and threw it directly at Rein.

The hammer spun violently toward Rein while lightning ripped through the sky above.
Rein narrowed his eyes.
Then caught the thunder hammer with one hand.
The impact pushed him backward across the sand.
The ground beneath his feet split apart.
His legs sank deep into the earth from the force.
Electricity surged across his arm wildly trying to tear through his body, but Rein simply growled and tightened his grip.
CRACK!!
The hammer started breaking apart.
Camron's eyes widened.
Rein roared and ripped the thunder hammer apart with pure physical strength enhanced by dominion energy.
Lightning scattered everywhere.
Rein immediately pushed himself off the ground.

He looked like a golden streak crossing the battlefield.
Camron barely reacted before Rein's fist smashed directly into his face.
The impact twisted Camron's entire body sideways.
Blood sprayed through the air.
Camron flipped violently several times before crashing onto the ground.
Rein didn't stop.
He immediately continued toward Number 4.
Number 4 opened her mouth.
A distorted frequency blasted outward.

Space distorted slightly.
Rein instantly switched places with Camron.
Rein frowned.
"Annoying."
Number 4 attacked immediately after the swap.
Four clawed arms slashed toward Rein's head and chest simultaneously.
But Rein spoke calmly.
"Area Lock."
A golden barrier of dominion energy instantly erupted outward.

The battlefield became sealed inside a massive golden dome.
Camron froze.
Number 4 immediately tried to use her sound again.
Camron lifted his hand trying to summon another thunder hammer.
Rein looked at both of them coldly.
"Cancel."
CRACK!!
The thunder gathering around Camron shattered apart.
Number 4's sound frequencies broke apart instantly before forming.
Silence.
Both of them froze in disbelief.
Rein cracked his neck and knuckles.
"You rely too much on borrowed tricks."
Then Rein vanished.
Not fast.
Not quick.
It was a complete speed blitz.
One second he stood there.

He appeared directly in front of Number 4.
Her ears twitched violently.

Rein hit her twice in the stomach.

Her monstrous body lifted off the ground.
Saliva flew from her mouth.
Rein spun and kicked her upward.
The impact bent her body unnaturally.
She flew backward and smashed against the golden barrier.

The barrier rippled.
Her body bounced off it and crashed face-first into the sand.
Camron roared.
"DAMN IT!"
He dashed toward Rein desperately.
Camron kicked at Rein's temple.
Rein tilted his head slightly.
The kick missed.
Camron spun and kicked again toward Rein's ribs.
Rein lifted his leg and kicked Camron's other foot directly at the ankle.
CRACK!!
The bone shattered instantly.
"AARRRGHHH!!"
Camron screamed and collapsed to one knee.
Rein stared at him coldly.
"You guys are so disgusting."
Golden dominion energy flowed heavier around Rein's body.
"You feed on the spiritual essence of the poor using symbolic magic."
Camron growled while clutching his broken leg.
"You know nothing about survival—"
Rein grabbed him by the throat and slammed him into the sand.

The entire shoreline shook.
Camron coughed blood violently.

The Thor god state slowly vanished.
Lightning disappeared from Camron's body.
His transformed state collapsed completely.
Blood covered the sand beneath him.
Number 4 finally screamed and charged toward Rein wildly.
The sound frequencies from her mouth shattered nearby rocks and tore apart trees.
Rein slowly stood up over Camron's unconscious body.
Then turned.
Number 4's clawed hands rushed toward his face.
Rein caught all four arms.
The ground beneath him cracked from the force.
Number 4 screamed directly into his face.
The sound blast exploded point blank.

The golden barrier shook violently.
Smoke covered the battlefield.
But inside the smoke—
Rein stood there unmoving.
Not even bleeding.
His dominion physique absorbed the impact completely.

Then grabbed her head and slammed her directly into the barrier.

The entire golden dome shook violently.
Number 4 collapsed onto the ground twitching.
Rein exhaled slowly.
"This city really pisses me off."
Number 4 slowly tried to crawl backward.
Rein walked toward her.
Each step felt heavy.
Dominion energy pulsed around him.
Number 4's ears twitched violently.
Then suddenly—
She smiled.
Rein narrowed his eyes.
"What?"
Her mouth opened wider unnaturally.
A distorted sound echoed outward.

It traveled toward the palace.
Rein's eyes narrowed slightly.

A man sitting on a throne slowly opened his eyes.
Prince Luther smiled faintly.
"Interesting."

Rein grabbed Number 4 by the face before she could make another sound.
"You're not calling anyone."
He slammed her into the ground again.

The barrier cracked slightly from the impact.
Number 4 coughed blood.
Rein looked down at her coldly.
"You people act like monsters while ruling over weak civilians."
His grip tightened.

Rein rubbed the blood from his knuckles.
Then looked toward the palace far in the distance.
His eyes narrowed.
"…Eryndor better hurry up."
