Chapter 37 - Say Hello to Dark World

"You're pretty confident for a maid!" Os said as he violently locked eyes with Rimera.

"It's crazy how you're ignoring me!" Galaxy said as she launched hurdles of ice toward Os. Os quickly moved, avoiding the attack and countering with a spell of his own; both magic canceled each other, releasing backlash waves that shook the entire Underground city.

Rimera's first shadow charged at Os, who was currently occupied with countering Galaxy. It violently slashed at os aiming at his spine, but os was sharper and more perceptive and quickly used wind magic to make a spherical wind barrier. As soon as he released the barrier, Rimera's second shadow used His long, sharp arms and pierced into his abdomen with cold, ruthless precision.

The pain quickly flooded into his body, a rush of dopamine covered his entire senses, completely numbing the pain, but not completely; there was still a largely fair amount of pain.

"SHIT!!!" Os yelled in Pain as he used his dark magic to blow off the beast's arms. He quickly looked around his surroundings, analyzing the situation. He noticed Rimera and Galaxy coming from both sides, and both of Rimera's shadows approaching from behind.

"It seems you've been cornered," Rimera said with a confident demeanor as they all attacked at once.

Like a prey being cornered by its predator, Os quickly sought an escape route, but to his dismay, he could not think of a single method of escaping his likely demise. The air grew heavy with pressure as slowly, but surely, Rimera and Galaxy approached. Galaxy was relieved as she was about to fulfill her duty not only as the student council president but also as a leader....at least that was what she had thought of until now. She quickly noticed a smirk on Os's face. Suddenly, Os pulled out a scroll from His bag.

"Let's do this!" Os Said as he poured his mana into the scroll, the scroll, in response, glowed purple as it floated up above everyone in the underground city.

Tristan sat silently in the car as Arthur drove Tristan back home. Tristan sat in the car, not uttering a single word.

"He's quiet, perhaps he's broken by what Rimera said to him?" Arthur wondered in his thoughts as he stared at Tristan through the side mirror. His head was faced down, and the silence between them was tense yet awkward at the same time.

"You know, I knew a child who was just like you. She was always energetic, kind, and filled with a strong sense of justice," Arthur said, breaking the incredibly tense silence between the two of them. He talked as if he were an old man talking about a story of long ago. Tristan moved slightly, signaling to Arthur that he was listening.

"You see, the girl was a strong silver blood, or so she thought. She had been deceived by her parents, and when the news spread, the same parents who lied to her also rejected her existence, branding her as a 'failed experiment' instead of a daughter… do you know what happens next?" Arthur said as he then asked Tristan for his opinion; quickly taking interest, he slightly perked his head up.

"Let me guess, she sees herself as less and then hides in a shell, bottling up all her anger," Tristan says in a distant tone mixed with a hint of depression. In response, Arthur chuckles a bit and then stops the car.

"She continued moving forward," Arthur said, leaving Tristan shocked and yet at the same time confused. Just how would a sane person pick themself back up from that kind of situation?

"She told herself that she wouldn't satisfy the universe!" Arthur said.

"What does that mean?" Tristan replied as he did not know what he meant. The story left him in awe, and yet he had so many questions to ask.

"Once the universe puts you down, nothing changes your still at the bottom, and no one can change that."

"But why are you telling—"

"Let me finish… nothing changes unless you do something about it, people tend to give up easily when thing dont go the way they planned, but that it in life nothing goes as planned and if you dont do something about it you will never succed… no matter what anyone tell's you never give up, defy the universe itself," Arthur said as he smiled, the words resonated with Tristan it was if he was being reborn. A new fire lit inside him; he knew what he had to do.

"Mister Arthur—"

"I know you wanna go back and help them, so I've been circling the area. Just step out and go join the battle." Arthur said as the car's door opened automatically. Tristan stepped out and rushed towards the hole.

"Master Tristan!" Arthur yelled and Tristan. Quickly stopped turning back to meet Arthur with a smile on his face.

"Please come back safe," Arthur said as Tristan smiled and nodded as he ran toward the hole.

The scroll glowed brightly till it illuminated the entire city.

*ROAR!!!!!!!*

The light faded, and a massive Black griffin that had 6 eyes on each side roared fiercely. Its wings were so large that they made everyone below feel terrified as it covered the entire city. Its claws looked like steel, and it landed on two buildings.

"Wh-at, is that?" Riot asked as both he and the student council stopped fighting.

"It's huge!"

"Were doomed!" The others cried out in a terrified manner as all hope of victory had been lost. Some fell to the ground, feeling defeated and helpless, while others dropped their weapons and awaited their imminent demise.

"Hell, he used it ?" Savier said as she looked at the beast in disbelief.

"What the hell is going on this time?" Finn said as he sat on Smoke, looking at the griffin with a look that said he's not ready for this crap.

"HA!, HA!, HA!…YES!, YES! DESTROY EVERYTHING." Os said as he stared at the griffin with a grin, laughing maniacally as it tore through the city.

Rimera and Galaxy were shocked as they turned all their attention to the griffin.

"What Is that?" Galaxy asked Rimera as she stepped back in utter shock.

"It's a demonic griffin, it's a Semi-Grade 1 monster," Rimera said, informing Galaxy of the monster before them. She talked as if she had encountered the beast once; maybe she had.

"Wait, aren't Semi-Grade 1 monsters found in a high-end Grade 2 gate or a Regular Grade 1 gate? What's that monster doing here in a place like this?" Galaxy asked as she realised the impending threat.

"It must have had a contract with the bastard we were fighting, so he must have summoned it," Rimera said as many thoughts raced in her mind. She was clearly worried about what was about to happen if they didn't take care of the threat.

Os noticed their attention had left him and quickly slipped away as he ran towards Savier. Savier stood and watched the beast rampage. She was confused as to why Os had decided to resort to using it.

"Savier was leaving!" Os said as he grabbed her hand to pull her back to her attention. She was surprised and confused as to why Os was here instead of fighting Galaxy and Rimera.

"What are you doing? Why did you summon the demonic beast ?!" She questioned Os as she seemed stressed and worried at the same time.

"Calm down, this is our time to escape their focus on the beast, so it's the only chance we have, now make a portal and let's go!" Os said ordering Savier before the others could react, but it was too late, Riot had noticed their fleeing attempt and had stepped forward.

"Stop right there, who are you people, and what do you want!" Riot asked as he gazed at them with an unrelenting will; it was clear that he wasn't joking and was ready to strike at any moment. Os noticed Riot staring and saw this as an opportunity, as he didn't have the chance to introduce himself and his organisation.

"Who are we?…. Hmph, call us Dark world, and you could call me Jester, now if you'd excuse us, we'll be taking our leave," Os said as he bowed. Savier quickly opened a portal, and they both disappeared. Riot didn't seem to care as long as they didn't hurt the princess.

The Griffin tore through the city as it violently roared.
