Apocalypse clutched his chest; Fang Yuan seized the opening, his palm glowing into a lightning-charged blade aimed at the Mutant's neck—he wanted to see if decapitation would finish him.
But Apocalypse caught Fang Yuan's wrist first, the crushing grip sending searing pain through the hero.
Apocalypse's strength had jumped again—
and by a huge margin!
"Wait…" Fang Yuan gasped. "You enhanced yourself?"
"You know me well," Apocalypse replied—an admission.
"Damn it!"
Fang Yuan cursed inwardly.
He was always the one who cheated; now someone else had flipped the script on him.
Apocalypse squeezed harder; even in Hulk form Fang Yuan felt his wrist about to shatter.
He vaulted up, rammed both feet into Apocalypse's chest to break the grip, then unleashed the full might of Thor's power, transforming into a titan of lightning to press the assault.
Apocalypse's technique was still crushed by Fang Yuan's, but brute strength let him break every grapple; each punch exceeded the Black King Template's instant absorption cap.
So Fang Yuan got ruthless. Relying on Hulk's toughness, he canceled the Black King Template and switched to the Rogue Template.
