Chapter 325 - Chapter 327: Where did two Talias come from?

Bruce Wayne finally agreed to Fang Yuan's proposal to take action.

Mainly, he knew that the fun-loving Fang Yuan would definitely not give up; rather than letting Fang Yuan act freely, it was better to keep an eye on him personally.

So, after making a three-point agreement with Fang Yuan, Fang Yuan sneaked into the League of Assassins.

Normally, it wouldn't be this easy without using Mystique's abilities because although the Talons are masked all day, the League of Assassins is strictly managed, the Talons' range of activity is restricted, and the Talons who meet every day are already very familiar with each other.

But now the atmosphere inside the League of Assassins was clearly wrong, and the original order had been disrupted, allowing Fang Yuan to sneak in without much effort.

The biggest reason, however, fell on Deathstroke.

He clearly intended to force a confrontation, gathering a large number of Talons and vaguely taking control of the League of Assassins' headquarters.

Although his surname wasn't al Ghul, ever since Bruce left the League of Assassins, he had been trained as Ras al Ghul's new heir, so many Talons followed his orders.

Until Talia al Ghul, who had been missing for several months, suddenly gave birth to a son; almost on the day she returned holding Damian, Ra's announced that Damian would officially become his heir.

This almost made Slade Johnson change his name to Joker because he felt he had been played by the al Ghul Family.

It just so happened that the Ras al Ghul had recently gone missing, and word was that he had died in Gotham, so Deathstroke immediately found an opportunity.

Ras al Ghul is dead?

Deathstroke expressed disbelief; the Ras al Ghul of this World had lived for six or seven hundred years, so he wouldn't die that easily.

But whether Ras al Ghul was dead or not, as long as he presented a fait accompli before Ras al Ghul returned, Ra's wouldn't be able to say much.

To the al Ghul Family, who had ruled the League of Assassins for hundreds of years, other Talons might feel awe in their hearts, but Deathstroke, who had once been groomed as an heir, was different; he had become disillusioned with the League of Assassins when Ras al Ghul went back on his word.

In terms of actual strength, Deathstroke didn't think he was much worse than Ras al Ghul; after all, Ra's had only lived a long time and didn't have superpowers.

Deathstroke's actions disrupted the distribution of the Talons and gave Fang Yuan an opportunity; he put on a Talon uniform and walked into the interior of the League of Assassins with the others.

The League of Assassins headquarters was a palace full of Eastern atmosphere, and as Fang Yuan followed them in, he soon noticed something was wrong.

They had already reached the inner courtyard of the League of Assassins, where Talons were not allowed to enter at will.

"Deathstroke is going to force a confrontation," he quickly realized.

He looked forward as much as possible and indeed saw someone whose clothing was completely different from the other Talons.

The man was about thirty years old, wearing orange combat gear and a headband of the same color.

Slade Wilson.

Compared to the Deathstroke Fang Yuan had seen in the Knightmare timeline, this one was much younger.

"Du Sang, get out of the way!"

Deathstroke stood before the courtyard gate and shouted sternly at an old man with white hair and a white beard who was leading people to block the gate.

"I want to see my son!" Deathstroke said with a half-smile.

"Damian is not your son, Slade, you know that!" the old man also shouted back, "Are you trying to mutiny?"

"Then you also know that even if you are a member of the al Ghul Family, you can't stop me." Deathstroke wasn't afraid at all as he stroked the katana in his hand. "There can only be one child inside, and that is my son!"

Deathstroke had made up his mind: either Damian would take his surname, or he would kill Damian.

"All Talons hear my command! Slade has betrayed the League of Assassins. If you join him in this rebellion, you will be considered traitors as well!"

The old man named Du Sang al Ghul quickly called out to the Talons.

He was also Ras al Ghul's son, the eldest son.

However, Du Sang had suffered from albinism since childhood and did not have the right of succession to the League of Assassins; correspondingly, his combat power was also very average.

So he could only place his hopes on the Talons.

However, none of the Talons standing behind Deathstroke moved; the League of Assassins valued strength above all else, and compared to Du Sang, the stronger Deathstroke certainly had more prestige.

Du Sang secretly groaned in his heart.

He should have noticed something was wrong with Deathstroke earlier, but now Talia had to protect the child and Ras al Ghul was missing, leaving the League of Assassins almost leaderless, which allowed Deathstroke to take advantage of the situation.

"Ras al Ghul will not allow any of this to happen!" Du Sang could only bring up Ras al Ghul's name in an attempt to intimidate the Talons.

"Ras al Ghul is dead, he died in Gotham!" Deathstroke immediately exposed his posturing. "Speaking of which, I really have to thank that Batman in Gotham; if it weren't for him, I wouldn't have found this opportunity."

Deathstroke didn't know Batman's identity; otherwise, he could easily have guessed who Damian's father was.

Seeing that Du Sang was unwilling to move, Deathstroke didn't want to delay; he picked up his katana and charged forward, and the Talons behind him followed suit, including Fang Yuan, who was just slacking off but also shouting and charging forward.

After casually knocking out a Talon who challenged him to a duel with a slap, Fang Yuan continued to watch the show.

But then he saw others hiding nearby.

It wasn't Batman, but two other people.

A man and a woman.

The man was burly, but he wore a mask respirator on his face, with a tube connecting the respirator to the chemical on his back.

The woman had a somewhat elegant and noble temperament, and her face looked very familiar to Fang Yuan.

Marion Cotillard.

She was the female lead in Taxi 2 and the wife of the male lead in Inception; of course, Fang Yuan preferred her performance in Chloe (1996).

Timestamp: 44 minutes.

Of course, another movie called Chloe was also good, keyword Amanda Seyfried... ahem, naturally, since she appeared here, her identity was another one.

Talia in The Dark Knight Rises, and the man beside her was the Batman kidney-destroyer, Bane.

However, it was clear that this wasn't the Talia who had just given birth to Bruce's son, because Bruce's attention was always inside the manor, so the identity of this person beside Bane was debatable.

Moreover, their conversation was also very interesting.

"Aren't we going to act?" Bane asked in a low voice.

The woman shook her head: "No, it's not time yet."

It looked like they were here to compete for business with Fang Yuan.

"Your skills were all taught by Ras al Ghul, yet you're betraying your master!" Du Sang tried to attack with words.

Du Sang was no match for Deathstroke at all; if he had that kind of strength, the position of heir would have been his.

"That's right, if you want to blame someone, blame him for teaching me too well!"

Deathstroke said as he cut down Du Sang with two strikes.

"Aren't you afraid that you'll be betrayed in the future too?" Du Sang asked resentfully as he lay on the ground.

Deathstroke didn't care: "If anyone defeats me, it's fine for me to give up the position to them!"

This was just pure talk while he had the advantage, since currently, no one in the League of Assassins was more powerful than him.

Unfortunately, a troublemaker had sneaked into the scene—

"Oh, really?"

Fang Yuan poked his head out from behind.

"Put that in writing!"
