Joey shrugged. "I don't know. Maybe Trish told her."
Winn nodded once. "Uh…makes sense."
"How are you dealing with that?"
"I guess it's for the best. She will be safe from me." Winn sighed.
"You're going to allow it?"
"What do you want me to do, Joey? Drag her by the hair? Throw her over my shoulder? Lock her in the Orchard mansion until she remembers she belongs to me?"
"What am I supposed to do? I tried to marry her once and look what happened. She almost died. We lost a child. We have both just been pencils in the hands of my family." Winn snapped.
Joey swallowed hard. Even from across the room he could feel that crack in Winn's armor widening. "Just call your sister okay? I don't really understand the full gist dude, but she is still your sister."
"Is she?"
Joey shifted uncomfortably.
"Winn… come on. Don't be like that. You guys have been through some shit together." Joey said.
"I have been through shit, Joey. Not her."
