Chapter 67: Entering, Signing in to Gu Yuena, Seeking Gu Yuena!
"You are thirteen this year?" The old man looked at Ye Ling's face with doubt. According to the bone age test, it was indeed this age.
But this age? It did not quite match the internal spiritual power he detected. What was going on?
"I just turned thirteen not long ago. May I ask, senior, is there a problem?" Ye Ling asked.
"What kind of thirteen-year-old possesses internal spiritual power exceeding one thousand three hundred, nearly one thousand four hundred points?"
"Moreover, your external spiritual power is also peculiar. I may not know the exact number, but it is certainly not within normal range!"
The mountain guardian looked at him, visibly confused, unsure what to say.
"My body is somewhat strange, and my talent is decent. May I ask, senior, if I may enter the Holy Mountain of Knights?" Ye Ling asked.
If he could not enter, his month-long journey would have been wasted.
"It is normal for geniuses to be strange. Though you are far more peculiar than any I have ever seen, it cannot be denied that you've met the requirements. Hand over your Holy Mountain Token, and I will take you inside," the old man said, not elaborating further.
He planned to bring Ye Ling in first, then gather the other mountain guardians to study what this boy had displayed.
It was truly strange.
"Cai'er, stay and spend some time in the Holy Mountain with Sister Xin'er. I will try to find my magical beast companion. At most, I will be gone for a month," Ye Ling said to Cai'er beside him.
"All right, Brother Ye Ling." Cai'er also wished to enter with him. With her abilities, she was more than qualified in both age and spirit power, yet she was not a knight, but an assassin.
Only knights had the right to enter the Holy Mountain of Knights. This rule had been set six thousand years ago, and even her grandfather, the Holy Moon, could not break it.
"I will take care of Sister Cai'er," Li Xin nodded.
Then Ye Ling followed the mountain guardian to the gate and stepped into a formation.
"Focus your aura. I will activate the teleportation array to send you into the Holy Mountain of Knights," the old man instructed.
He then explained the rules for entering—mainly to avoid killing and to act cautiously.
After a few key points, he let Ye Ling in.
Once Ye Ling was transported away, the old man pondered briefly, then departed.
"This boy is indeed strange. Clearly only thirteen, yet possessing such powerful internal spirit power. His external spirit power is equally terrifying, no longer within the range of a normal fourth rank. Even compared to my own, it is not much weaker."
"This must be studied carefully. If his growth is natural and not forced, it will be a great blessing for our Knight's Sanctuary—and for all humanity."
After thinking that, the old man fell silent and left.
When Ye Ling regained awareness, he found himself in a place filled with birdsong and blossoms. The vegetation here was lush and vibrant, clearly unlike the damaged lands outside.
The air was fresh.
Moreover, he could feel waves of special energy. The elemental force was abundant. If he was not mistaken, cultivating here would yield results five times greater than in the outside world—perhaps even more.
The power of this place was astonishing.
[Detected special location: Holy Mountain of Knights. The host may sign in.]
[Sign-in successful. Host has obtained the Complete Perfect Contract Tome and Mount: Silver Dragon King.]
"Hmm?" Ye Ling was momentarily stunned when he heard this. Good heavens, a mount—Silver Dragon King.
He had merely imagined it earlier, thinking perhaps he might obtain someone like Gu Yuena, a being with the potential of a God King, but he never expected it to actually happen.
He had really obtained Gu Yuena?
At that thought, a faint smile appeared on Ye Ling's face.
"If it's the Silver Dragon King Gu Yuena, that's more than fine," he said with a hint of amusement, clearly satisfied.
After all, Gu Yuena's potential and strength were truly terrifying. She could command the elements of heaven and earth at will and coordinate them without limit. Her other innate abilities were equally remarkable, capable of reaching the level of a God King—or even surpassing it.
Perhaps she was not on par with Austingriffin, but she was far more terrifying than the Demon God Emperor.
Between Austingriffin and Gu Yuena, Ye Ling preferred Gu Yuena slightly more.
Ye Ling was not obsessed with appearances, yet he had to admit—Gu Yuena was perfectly aligned with his taste, and… well, she was ample.
Cough.
Anyway, if it was Gu Yuena, then there was nothing to worry about.
"Next, I should start searching. If she hasn't appeared here, she must still be somewhere within the Holy Mountain of Knights. I can look for her," Ye Ling said.
Following the link provided by the system, Ye Ling began searching for Gu Yuena. He could sense she was nearby, not far away.
Soon, step by step, he started a thorough search.
Along the way, he encountered many magical beasts who noticed him and showed interest, yet all of them were firmly rejected by Ye Ling.
A few light-attribute beasts of decent strength—such as the Starlight Unicorn and the Holy Unicorn—sensed Ye Ling's innate internal spirit power of one hundred points and the divine aura of a Six-Winged Angel. They immediately chose submission, declaring themselves unworthy to form a contract with the Child of Light.
They even escorted Ye Ling for a while.
Those beasts were quite polite indeed.
"Respected Child of Light, you mentioned you're seeking a special magical beast. Could you describe it? Perhaps I can be of assistance?" asked the King of the Starlight Unicorns, an eighth-rank peak magical beast carrying Ye Ling on its back.
Ye Ling described Gu Yuena's true form as best he could.
The King of the Starlight Unicorns paused briefly to sense her location, then galloped toward the indicated direction with Ye Ling on its back.
Its speed was astounding.
It was clear this guardian beast of the Holy Mountain was deeply familiar with its terrain.
Soon, it carried Ye Ling to another cavern. Within, Ye Ling could feel waves of Law Power and the surging of elemental energy.
"Child of Light, from my perception, it should be here," said the King of the Starlight Unicorns.
"Thank you," Ye Ling replied.
"To serve the Child of Light is my honor." With a proud whinny, the unicorn departed.
Ye Ling then stepped into the cave alone.
Before long, in the depths ahead, he saw a dragon—its entire body shimmering with pure silver light.
