Chapter 110 - I'll Take That as Your Answer

Everyone: "..."

They looked at the suddenly appearing Ur, then at the dark mage camp that had already suffered over fifty percent casualties.

The regular guild mages fell into collective silence.

I mean—come on.

Just look at the blade in his hand. Look at the killing intent pouring off him. Look at how he cuts people down without blinking.

Did he really need them to "do him a favor"?

Say one more unnecessary word right now, and that blade would probably be at your throat the next second.

"Haha… brother, you joke," someone from the regular guild's side said after a few seconds, forcing a flattering smile. "Dark mages are enemies of the entire continent. Since you're here for revenge, we naturally have no reason to interfere. Please, go ahead. By all means."

They had no choice.

The aura Ur was giving off was simply too terrifying. That savage, violent surge of magic power made them feel like they were facing a ferocious beast ready to pounce—there wasn't the slightest trace of the so-called "gentleness" associated with legal guild mages.

If some of them hadn't heard of Fairy Tail before, they would have seriously questioned whether Ur was even from a light-affiliated guild at all.

The guild mages withdrew quickly. More than anything, they felt this place was about to become extremely unsafe.

Once they were gone, murmurs immediately broke out among them.

"I've heard for ages that Fairy Tail is a bunch of lunatics mixed with monsters. Seeing it today… the rumors don't do them justice. That guy wasn't even that old, but he felt scarier than our guild master. He's a complete freak."

"Exactly. And I've never even heard his name before. Fairy Tail really lives up to its reputation as the number one guild in the Kingdom of Fiore."

"Wait, wasn't the strongest guild in Fiore supposed to be Phantom Lord?"

"Heh… that was before. Now? Hard to say."

Listening to these discussions, others couldn't help but feel envious. The strength of the top guilds varied from country to country, and Fiore was undoubtedly one of the most powerful nations on the Ishgar Continent.

The strongest guild of such a country, its power was self-evident.

"Alright, Mr. Nullpudding," Ur said calmly once the legal guild mages had all left. He turned toward the remaining dark mages, who were trembling in fear. "Would you mind stepping forward? I have a few words I'd like to discuss with you."

"Heh heh… a Fairy Tail dog, huh?" Nullpudding waddled forward, splitting his mouth into a wide grin that was half mockery, half sneer. "Looks like that hypocritical old man of yours finally decided to deal with his own son?"

To be honest, Nullpudding was panicking inside.

What Ur had just displayed had genuinely frightened him.

But on the surface, he still acted dismissive. First, because mages in this world had a common flaw—lose the fight, but never the bravado. Second, because it bought him time to secretly notify his guild master and wait for reinforcements.

Ur naturally saw through these little tricks, but he didn't care.

"I'm not interested in educating that unfilial brat of your guild master," Ur said calmly. "I only want to confirm one thing with you."

His gaze turned icy, his tone dark and oppressive.

"A blue-haired little girl was injured here. I just want to know—was it you?"

"A blue-haired little girl?" Narubudinku chuckled. "Can't say I remember. In the past month alone, the number of mages who've died by my hand is already in the double digits. As for the ones I've beaten and chased off—there are even more. A mere little girl? Why would I remember something like that? Don't you agree?"

He burst into arrogant, unrestrained laughter.

Ur's expression, however, grew calmer by the second. His eyes were utterly indifferent.

"I see," he said quietly. "Then I'll take that as your answer."

"You may die now."

The moment the words fell, Ur moved.

The Dark Dragon Fang became a streak of ghostly light, appearing before Nullpudding in an instant. A violent sense of danger made Nullpudding's pupils shrink as he instinctively leaped backward.

At the same time, magic power erupted from his body, his strength and speed surging dramatically.

It was a body-enhancement spell, nothing particularly rare. Magic circles appeared over Nullpudding's hands, and he charged straight at Ur. This type of enhancement magic, like Dragon Slayer Magic, relied on close combat. But compared to Dragon Slayer Magic, it fell far short in both power and potential.

It was clear Nullpudding had specifically trained in hand-to-hand combat. Against ordinary mages, his fighting style combined with magic often worked wonders.

Unfortunately for him, his opponent was Ur.

Ur's physical attributes had already stepped into the realm of monsters. Combined with his relentless training in Kuga Combat Technique, even barehanded, Ur could have utterly crushed Nullpudding.

And that was without even mentioning the vast gap in their magic power.

Crack!

The moment Nullpudding closed in, he was completely suppressed by Ur's overwhelming strength within just a few exchanges.

The situation was utterly beyond his expectations.

Just as terror flooded his heart and he tried to retreat, Ur seized a flaw and drove a single punch straight into Nullpudding's throat.

The terrifying force from Ur's body, amplified by the Kuga Combat Technique, instantly shattered Nullpudding's throat bone—his entire neck visibly caving inward.

"Ghk… ghh…" Nullpudding's face twisted in horror as blood poured from his mouth. He stared at Ur, wanting to say something, but with his throat crushed, all that came out were garbled, meaningless sounds.

And at that moment, Ur flipped the Dark Dragon Fang in his hand and brought it down in a single decisive strike.
