"Such a magnificent body~"
In a small, dimly lit room, a female doctor in a white coat and glasses stared at Ur's body with shining eyes, drooling, or rather, exclaiming in admiration unceasingly.
In all her years of medical practice, she had never seen such a robust and resilient body. It was simply inhuman.
"Can we start the operation?" Ur, lying on the surgical table, asked coldly.
"Oh!" The doctor quickly wiped her mouth and hurriedly replied.
Ur was helpless. He had simply picked a random doctor from a town beneath the Hogsriya Mountains, and yet had stumbled upon a pervert.
Truly… what the hell is wrong with this person?!
Magic brought convenience to people's lives, sometimes even surpassing technology.
Thanks to his powerful self-healing ability, most of Ur's injuries could heal naturally. Only the fractured bones in his chest and side required external help for proper alignment.
After administering a local anesthetic, the doctor began the operation.
Though her surgical skill might not have been extraordinary, years of treating trauma patients in the Hogria Mountains had given her rich experience. Her movements were precise and practiced.
Several hours later, the operation concluded. The wounds were stitched and bandaged. After the surgery, Ur left the clinic with Natsu, Happy, and the little panda, under the reluctant gaze of the doctor.
Unbeknownst to them, several eyes had been quietly observing from a nearby restaurant as they departed.
"Did you confirm?" a man inside the restaurant, seemingly the leader, asked.
"Yes. Their packages contain all monster materials. I don't recognize them, but they're definitely from high-level monsters—very valuable."
The leader's eyes glinted.
"Good. Keep following them. I'll report back to the master immediately."
With that, he left, and his subordinates dispersed.
Ur and Natsu checked into an inn in town. They planned to rest here for two days. Natsu, as usual, was carefree and oblivious, though he had been slightly down after not finding any leads from Hitsuya. By the second day, he had bounced back. By the third day, he was back to his usual hyper self, running around with Happy, darting wherever crowds or food were found.
Fortunately, they had just received a small fortune; otherwise, with their appetites, they would have gone bankrupt. Ur, in contrast, was far more disciplined.
He spent the two days inside the inn, mostly practicing Mist Meditation and feeding Panda the dragon meat.
Ordinary humans couldn't consume much dragon meat, lest they undergo dragonization. After all, the fifth-generation dragon slayer, the "Dragon Eater," gained dragon powers from eating dragons.
Although Ur didn't know if "drake meat" would have the same effect, he didn't want to risk it. He decided to consume over 95% of the dragon meat before returning to the guild, leaving only a small amount to share with guild members.
"Awooo~~" Sensing Ur's thoughts, Panda let out a roar while chewing on the meat.
Ur smiled, patting its round head. "Don't worry. Once we get back, I'll find the freshest bamboo shoots for you."
Panda: [o(`ω′*)o]
"I'm a carnivore! I want meat, not veggies!" Panda crossed its chubby paws, stood upright, and glared at Ur to assert its authority.
However… it had no real effect.
Ur saw it as nothing more than cute mischief, and he patted Panda's head again.
Two days passed quickly.
Though insufficient for full bone recovery, Ur's surgical incisions healed, and he consumed over 95% of the dragon meat. The dragonization factor in the meat didn't affect Ur's Dimensional Stomach—it only increased his health points. Thanks to Hitsuya's body, Ur gained over 30 health points, bringing his total to 104. His body had become even tougher.
Because money!
Natsu bought a carriage and loaded it with their loot, heading toward the station in the neighboring town.
Midway along the road, a group of people leapt out from a small forest ahead, each bearing the same guild insignia.
The leader, a one-eyed man, spotted Ur and Natsu's carriage and grinned savagely. Striding into the road, he shouted. "Stop! Robbery—"
Boom!
Before he could finish, a massive fireball, nearly ten meters in diameter, shot from the sky and engulfed them.
A deafening explosion followed.
The terrifying force consumed everyone, including the forest itself. Most didn't even scream before being reduced to ashes.
When the flames dissipated, only the one-eyed leader remained alive.
Looking around at the charred wreckage, he was dumbfounded, trembling violently, unaware that he had even wet his pants.
At that moment, the carriage slowly stopped in front of him.
Natsu, equally stunned, asked. "Ur… who were they?"
Ur moved his hand slightly and said calmly. "I don't know. But didn't he say it himself? He came to rob us. If it's robbery, why waste words?"
Natsu: "······"
One-eyed man: "······"
[d(?д??)]Whoa!
The one-eyed man nearly fell to his knees in terror.
What kind of person is this?
He had been a "robber" all along and deserved some courtesy, some rules. Even after robbing so many times, he always had "just cause." This… was completely unreasonable!
"Oh, by the way, Natsu, don't forget to collect all the loot from these guys," Ur suddenly remembered and said.
Natsu: "???"
One-eyed man: "!!!"
