Chapter 1 - Chapter 1

"How is this possible?" Maomao muttered in a daze.

It had been a total of three hours since she woke up in an unknown alleyway, in a body resembling her 6 year old self, and she was starting to freak out.

Occasionally, a stranger would walk by the alleyway, the language they were speaking was not the chinese she was familiar with, yet she understood every word.

The first thing she ruled out was being kidnapped.

After all, if someone could revert somebody to 6 years of age, wouldn't they be an immortal?

The second thing she ruled out was hallucinations.

Since she was immune to most hallucinogenic drugs, this one could be ignored (the drugs she wasn't immune to were too potent for her to think clearly).

But then she saw a man summon a scissor out of thin air.

Maomao: ???

Perhaps it was too early to rule out hallucinations.

Suddenly, 6 years worth of memories entered her mind, making her mind go blank.

Maomao collapsed.

3 Hours later, she woke up, finally understanding her situation.

First off, she had been reborn.

The original owner of her new body was a beggar with no name, living with a heart disease which was the cause of her death.

Maomao felt both pity and gratitude towards the original owner.

Pity for the poor state of the body she was now in, and gratitude for the knowledge she left behind.

The alleyway she woke up in was located in dragon city, which was located near the far north.

As for the scissor she saw earlier? That is called a martial soul.

A martial soul can be awakened at the age of 6, which was quite a coincidence.

The only problem was that it cost a lot of money.

Thankfully, the original owner had been saving up for it, even skimping out on meals just to save more coins.

"But, this isn't nearly enough for survival, let alone the awakening..."

The martial soul awakening costs 1 gold coin, which is equal to 10 silver coins or 100 copper coins.

1 copper coin is enough for a meal, so a gold coin is worth 33 days of food for 1 person (that is, if they are not a soul master [soul master cultivation costs recources], and even then they would be eating barely enough to get by).

Maomao has 130 copper coins, and it is 3 months away from the awakening day.

If we say that it costs 90 copper coins for a months worth of food, it would cost 270 copper coins even without clothing and room expenses.

In total, Maomao needs to earn 240 copper coins in 3 months (270+100-130).

In the end, Maomao decided to find a job, preferably at a pharmacy or a library.

And so Maomao set off towards the library.

...

In the God Realm:

"Why did fate change trajectory? Obviously the luck of the world should be concentrated around the son of destiny, right?"

Sitting atop a wooden chair, a figure was muttering with confusion.

It was a man with dark blue hair down to his shoulders, wearing a blue and gold suit as he perused over a miniature version of the Douluo star, his eyes occasionally flashing purple as he stared at the globe.

If anyone from shrek academy saw this man, they would immediately bow down, for this person was none other than the "pure and innocent" Sea God, Tang San.

Of course, despite his "good" reputation, this man was quite the manipulative fellow.

Immediately upon solidifying his godly position, he started plotting against his home planet, Douluo Star.

He had an elaborate plan including turning his father into the plane master of Douluo Star, turning his mother into the life core, and stealing the planet's luck.

First he suppressed the plane's will weakly, causing it to break free and attempt to retaliate.

The retaliation would either be destroying Tang San, which would be impossible because he's a God King, or by concentrating its luck on a newborn baby and blessing it as the child of destiny.

This newborn would have the fate to become a God King, and hopefully, this child would save the plane.

Of course, such instances have been recorded, and it was pretty predictable before it happened.

The son of destiny was Dai Yuhao, son of Dai Hao and Huo Yun'er.

The luck of Dai Yuhao would stop Tang San from interfering with him directly, but it didn't stop him from interfering with Dai Yuhao's parents.

Dai Yuhao grew up hearing stories of the Tang Sect, which would have been impossible, considering that the Tang Sect had already declined by the time he was born (also they were in the Star Luo Empire, while the tang sect was located far away).

Strangely enough, his father, Dai Hao never knew he existed. Even though Dai Hao loved Huo Yun'er greatly, he never visited her after Dai Yuhao was born.

These strange occurrences were thanks to Tang San.

However, despite his immaculate planning, the luck that was originally allocated to Dai Yuhao was split in half, with half of the luck vanishing.

"Is it possible for two sons of destiny to be born at the same time? Dai Yuhao is already 6, which means that the new son of destiny is 6 years younger!"

Tang San quickly wrote a letter and sent out a message with his divine consciousness, causing a subordinate to enter the room.

"send this letter to Tai Tan and Niu Tian in the lower realm"

The subordinate nodded silently and left.

...

lower realm (Maomao POV)

"Can I work here?" Maomao spoke slowly, gritting her teeth.

The waiter took one look at her, "do you know how to read?"

"No..."

"Are you willing to learn?"

"yes!"

"Well we're not hiring"

Maomao: ???

Maomao left sad and homeless (although she was already homeless).

Originally, she had hope, but after the fifth library in the city, she had already given up.

Just as she sighed, a wild pokemon (human) appeared!
