Inside the main hall, Zhao Geng Nian's face darkened with the news that he had just gotten.
An elder from the Qing Feng Sect sat on the side of the main hall, quietly waiting for the response from him while enjoying a sip of tea.
"Are you sure about it, elder Chan?" Zhao Geng Nian asked but elder Chan was nonchalant about it.
Elder Chan put down the teacup he had in his hands slowly before he glanced at Zhao Geng Nian and said, "You should know the answer.
"Asking about it over and over again wouldn't change it.
"The sect leader is getting impatient and you had better clear up the mess before he arrives.
"After all, you aren't the only one waiting in line to become the next sect leader."
Zhao Geng Nian's eyes narrowed and he lowered his head after he heard what elder Chan had said.
He would have cleared everything up by now if he could.
