## Chapter 5 – Super Powers!!
### Part 1
He frowned.
"Now."
"What's going on?"
He waited, scanning the ruins around him, trying to make sense of it all.
"Oi, parasite!" he shouted at the system, his voice echoing through the broken towers. "Get out here!"
Silence.
A sigh escaped his lips. "As expected. These manhwa-and-manga-type systems are the worst things in existence."
"Tch." He spat into the dust, disgust curling his lip. "Good for nothing trash."
He looked around. The city stretched endlessly in twisted streets and shattered skyscrapers, a graveyard of civilization. Yet it was not empty.
They moved. Slowly. Inhumanly. Shapes of bone, shadow, and miasma shuffled like puppets dragged through tar. Some cloaked themselves in black rags that bled colored vapors. Others clutched tomes burning with crimson runes, their skeletal fingers glowing as energy pulsed through their forms. And still more rattled under the weight of grotesque jewelry that screamed in ghostly voices, each step a chorus of agony.
Every breath he took brought more of them—appearing, clawing their way from the cracks in the earth, skeletal faces twisted into mockeries of the living.
A hollow chuckle left him. "Heh. The name suits you. *Scaletron City*… yes, that fits just right."
The miasma thickened. Bones scraped against stone. In the shadows, countless sockets burned like dying stars, watching him.
Kimura Takatou clenched his fists. For the first time since his awakening, something stirred within his palm—a flicker of void, a whisper of the black hole that had once cracked his shackles. It pulsed faintly, as if hungry.
His lips curled into a bloodied grin. "So be it. If this hell wants to drown me in skeletons…" He raised his hand, the void trembling with unspent power.
"…then I'll turn hell inside out."

### Part 2
Time skip — a few hours later.
Kimura leaned against a cracked wall, sweat streaking his forehead, his eyes fixed on the glowing corner of his vision. Two translucent bars hovered there, pulsing faintly.
"Tch." His tongue clicked in annoyance. "The system surely took its time."
[76% ↑ ... 78% ↑]
[00:00:04:02:97]
He exhaled, long and tired. "Sigh."
The crushing mental weight that had nearly broken him earlier was gone now. The torrent of alien data had slowed to a trickle, its pressure finally easing after hours of torment. Still, his body remembered. Every nerve ached, his skull throbbed like a battlefield drum, and only his years of discipline as a Vartan soldier had kept him from snapping.
Now his gaze turned outward—to the endless horde of skeletons.
"At first, I thought it was the rift," he muttered under his breath, eyes tracking the figures moving painfully slow through the ruins. "But no… it's not that." His jaw clenched. "If it had been the rift, that golden skeleton wouldn't have blitzed me like that."
As if in answer, a fresh screen flared before him.
[System Alert: Ability — *Time De-Acceleration* — will be deactivated in 5 minutes.]
Kimura froze mid-step. "Wait."
The words left his lips before thought caught up. He stood there, heartbeat thundering, trying to process what he'd just read.
His jaw fell open, eyes wide with shock.
"…No way."
The realization slammed into him harder than any battlefield shell. His body trembled, not with fear, but with disbelief and exhilaration.
"I…" He raised his hand slowly, watching as the faint shimmer of slowed time wavered at the edges of his vision. The skeletons, the dust in the air, even the distant flicker of flames—all of it crawled at a pace far below reality.
His lips split into a grin, sharp and wild.
"I have *superpowers*."

### Part 3
"Why… why don't I have any memories of this?" Kimura muttered, his breath quick. "Did the system *give* me this power?"
He shook his head sharply. "No. That can't be it. If it did, there'd have been some kind of notification… some kind of activation prompt."
He froze mid-thought. His pupils dilated.
"Wait—" His voice cracked. "Didn't it just say… *time de-acceleration will stop within five minutes*?"
The realization struck like a bullet.
"Shit!" He slammed a fist against the wall. "Shit! Shit!"
A new timer snapped open in front of his eyes.
[Time De-Acceleration will deactivate in: 00:00:03:56]
His gut twisted as he looked around. The city groaned with the sound of bone and shadow. Countless skeletons shuffled and twitched in the haze, frozen in their slow crawl—but not for long.
"Damn it all."
He didn't hesitate. His body, whole and healed, responded with a soldier's discipline. His legs coiled like springs, and then—
*BOOM!*
He exploded forward. Thirteen meters per second. His body blurred across the cracked pavement, rubble scattering in his wake.
But control was still new, awkward. His footing caught on broken stone, and he careened into a nearby pile of debris.
*BANG!*
"ACK!" His shoulder cracked against the rubble. Pain shot through his ribs like lightning. "Arghhh! Fuck!"
He winced, his body jolting with agony. But there was no pause, no hesitation. Years of training roared in his blood.
"Not… giving up… that easily." His teeth clenched as he forced himself upright in a single instant. To untrained eyes, it would've looked like teleportation.
"No time to feel pain!" he growled, spit flying from his lips. "Fucking run!"
And so he did.
Kimura sprinted through the ruins like a beast unchained, every stride a blur, every heartbeat a drum of desperation. The timer ticked down, the slow world around him threatening to snap back into terrifying reality.
But his legs only pumped harder.
For the first time in his life, Kimura Takatou wasn't just running for survival—he was running with ''superhuman speed''.

### Part 4
"System!! Find a place with zero—or as close to zero—threat level as possible!" he screamed while running, his voice ragged.
[Notice: First order has been received.]
[Activating map function. Searching for optimal retreat zone.]
[Searching…]
"Hurry up!" Kimura bellowed, eyes wild with desperation. "System, if you don't, I swear—" He bit the words, his rage boiling over. "You bastard!"
[Searching…]
[Retreat zone detected. Probability of hostile presence: 2.34%.]
"Tell me the coordinates!"
An arrow of light appeared in front of him, pointing sharply toward the horizon.
[Target location: 2.7 km – North-East.]
[Time until *Time De-Acceleration* deactivates: 00:00:02:28.]
He didn't slow. His legs blurred against the cracked pavement, his body a blur of momentum, hurling him toward survival.

**A few hours later**
"Huff! Huff!" His chest burned as if filled with fire.
[1.2 km.]
[Time remaining: 1 minute 23 seconds.]
"Hhhh~!" His legs trembled but kept pounding the ground.
[0.9 km.]
[55 seconds.]
His heart thundered like war drums.
[0.6 km.]
[36 seconds.]
"Puff!" His vision swam, his breath ripping in gasps.
[0.38 km.]
[10 seconds.]
"Graahhh!" With a savage roar, Kimura pushed everything he had left into his muscles. His body blurred, surpassing limits, nearly 1/24th the speed of sound. His footsteps cracked the ground, shockwaves tearing through the ruins.
[0.25 km → 0.10 km → 0.05 km.]
"ACK!" His stride faltered, rubble catching his foot. His body staggered, almost collapsing.
But then—
*Her voice.*
Saki's soft laughter. Airi's tiny cry, reaching out. The warmth of the family he had lost yet carried inside.
Kimura's eyes blazed, his throat raw. His body might break, but his will would not.
"I WON'T DIE UNTIL MY GOAL IS COMPLETE!" he roared, every fiber of his being set alight.
"Swish!"
[0.01 km → 0.00 km.]
[Destination reached.]
[You have entered Safe Zone: *The Sacred Land of Cosmic Trinity – G.O.D.*]
"THUNK!"
He collapsed, body smashing into the ground, dust rising around him. His frame convulsed, drenched in sweat. There were no wounds, no broken bones—only exhaustion so complete it threatened to drown him in oblivion.
His vision flickered. The world dimmed. But in the haze, he thought he saw something—pillars of impossible light rising in the distance, runes burning with ancient power, and the faint echo of a voice that was neither human nor machine.
He tried to lift his head, but his body gave way. Darkness embraced him.
Kimura Takatou fell unconscious at the threshold of divinity.
"Swisk!"
The screen panel came to live, once again
[Congratulations for you success hunter]
Kimura did not react he was truly unconscious.
*…*
[…]
He did not say anything just stayed motionless at the ground.
The purple dome of the safe zone flickered in for a few second , then returned to normal,
As if kimura's insignificent life did not mean, anything .
The nature in side the stayed calm, it did not care about him, at all.
Everything was moving as they should, so they did not cared.
Even the dimension of D.E.N, remained careless and indifferent.
Even, It's hunters life did not matter to it. As well.
All you can here at tge moment was an eeriy silence and deadly calm, that threatend to devour anything at any moments.
