"Alright, class. Our lesson on redstone applications concludes this afternoon. These two things are like one plus one equals two—they're just basic rules. But if you can, you can use these rules to create some really cool things. You are dismissed now."
After Kaisen announced class was over, he stretched with a yawn and walked out of the classroom, planning to get some fries in the Great Hall.
"Professor, why haven't I seen you much in the Castle these past two days?" Angelina jogged over to Kaisen and asked.
"I've been investigating the so-called Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets. You all should know about it; it's that legend of Hogwarts."
"Then, Professor, will you be leaving the Castle today? Going to the Black Lake or the Quidditch Pitch?" Angelina continued.
"No, I won't. I've been piecing together many… well… useful clues from various unofficial histories recently."
"So, you'll be spending most of the rest of the day in your office?"
"Yes, after I've eaten."
"Alright, Professor, I wish you a pleasant rest of your day." Angelina said, then quickly ran off. The Weasley Twins and Cedric were waiting for her there.
Kaisen arrived at the Great Hall and sat down, monotonously chewing on his fries.
"Why are there so few people in the Great Hall today? Are most of the Little Wizards not coming? Is Hogwarts having a weight-loss trend?" Kaisen asked Professor Sprout, who was sitting nearby.
As one of the kindest Professors, if there was any gossip at Hogwarts, asking her was usually the right move.
"There is indeed a trend towards weight loss. Haven't you noticed that today's food is much lighter?" Professor Sprout nodded and said.
"Uh… Professor, is there a small kitchen where I can get something to fill my stomach… Aren't you tired of eating fish and chips every day?" Kaisen said with a bitter expression.
"I'm sorry, Kaisen. Because of this strange weight-loss trend, the Hogwarts kitchen currently has virtually no other meat besides fish and chips." Sprout said with an unyielding smile on her face.
"Alright, Professor… I might go out to find food later. Do you need anything brought back? I can pick something up on my way." Kaisen said.
"Hmm?" Professor Sprout's expression was momentarily awkward, her eyes constantly darting towards Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick nearby.
And Professor McGonagall and Professor Flitwick also couldn't stop coughing.
"What? You're going out? No, no, no, uh…" Professor McGonagall stopped mid-sentence, looking a bit awkward, as if trying to figure out how to continue her lie.
"Uh, Kaisen, Hogwarts isn't peaceful lately. Every moment, the Little Wizards and Professors are living under the shadow of the Basilisk. Hogwarts can't do without you right now."
Professor Flitwick was definitely quick-witted, coming up with a grand excuse almost instantly.
"It's fine, I can Ender Teleport back and forth very quickly."
Professor Flitwick pulled out a napkin and wiped his forehead: "Uh… Kaisen, is there anything else you need to do outside the school?"
"Besides going out for a small meal… no. If there's anything you need me to bring, just tell me." Kaisen replied.
"Oh…" Professor Flitwick nodded, while subtly glancing at Dumbledore. The latter quickly understood what Professor Flitwick meant, pulled out his wand, and lightly tapped it. A series of Phoenix Patronuses flew out in all directions.
"Wow, Dumbledore, you have that trick up your sleeve! That's pretty cool." Kaisen turned to Dumbledore and exclaimed.
"Yes, if you're curious, I can teach you. Honestly, I think you'd learn it very quickly." Dumbledore showed an awkward yet polite smile.
"Uh, I might not be able to learn it. Honestly, I don't have much talent for traditional spells like that. Of course, if you really want to teach me, I'd be happy to, but it'll have to wait until I get back." Kaisen said.
"No, no, no, Kaisen, you probably won't be able to get that special meal today. Didn't you know? Old Tom's pub is closed today, and a lot of Wizards who can't Apparate can't get into Diagon Alley." Professor Flitwick quickly said.
"Yes, yes, and as for the Hog's Head Inn, I'm embarrassed to even mention that old goat. The food there is not something a normal person can enjoy. Even if your milk can detoxify, I wouldn't recommend trying it. After all, just thinking about that horrible, chilling stuff entering your mouth, I bet you wouldn't even be able to sleep well." Dumbledore also chimed in.
"And The Three Broomsticks."
"Madam Rosmerta went to France to see her niece." Professor McGonagall quickly added.
"…She has a niece?"
"Uh… Yes! And she's very pretty. I'll introduce you next time."
"No, no, no, there's no need for that. Love will only hinder my research into Alchemy." Kaisen quickly shook his head and said.
"In any case, just stay in Hogwarts tonight and don't go out. As for the food, it will return to normal tomorrow morning." Dumbledore comforted him.
"Uh… Severus, how are you finding it?" Kaisen perfectly understood Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall's pursuit of light eating and health, so he could only look towards Snape, who was sitting nearby.
Although Snape usually had a stern face not much different from an old scholar in his seventies or eighties, in terms of physiological age, he was only a few years older than Kaisen.
So he should be able to understand Kaisen's desire for meat that he couldn't get.
"Eating light occasionally is good, and I don't recommend you go to the Muggle world to eat unhealthy fast food and junk food…" Snape straightened up slightly and began to lecture Kaisen earnestly about the benefits of occasional vegetarianism and how eating too much at night is bad for the body.
At the same time, two Slytherins, full of stealth, took a long detour behind the Professors' table. The person in front had a roasted whole lamb floating behind him.
The person behind had a twenty-plus-layer cake floating behind him.
Professor Flitwick pinched the bridge of his nose in exasperation, then pulled out his wand and waved it. In the blink of an eye, two Bubble-Head Charms enveloped the food behind the two Little Wizards.
Then he saw even more Little Wizards with huge piles of delicious food floating behind them, looking at him pitifully.
"Oh…" Professor Flitwick furtively glanced around, making sure Kaisen wasn't paying attention before jumping off his chair. In the blink of an eye, he scurried on his short legs towards that group of Little Wizards.
At that moment, he began to doubt his own teaching ability.
Not only did these Little Wizards not know the Bubble-Head Charm, but they also didn't know the Disillusionment Charm?
How did they manage to sneak out at night without getting caught normally?
