Chapter 198 - Chapter 198 That makes him look cheap

"How does Dumbledore want to handle this letter?" Lucius asked.

"Actually, I can take care of it myself. Although I'm a few steps below Dumbledore in social standing, when it comes to magic, I can barely manage," Kayson said.

"So, how do you plan to handle this letter?"

"Write back to him, telling him to rescue Peter Pettigrew on Christmas Day... Of course, it would be even better if he brought more Death Eater companions."

Lucius nodded and took the envelope back. "No problem."

"I think you probably have other questions. You can ask me directly here, or you can go to Dumbledore."

"Do you really think he will make a comeback? This isn't a lack of trust in my own intuition; I just want to hear other people's opinions," Lucius asked.

"At least in the short three years since I came to the magic world, I have seen him twice."

Lucius fell silent. "What are Dumbledore's plans?"

"What are his plans to protect the House of Malfoy?" Kayson asked.

"Yes."

"Draco will not be in any danger at Hogwarts. As for the two of you, you can use a world map as a dartboard; any location outside of England is very safe. After all, Lord Voldemort's terrorist enterprise is at most village-level; he's not Grindelwald," Kayson quipped.

"Is this Dumbledore's intention?" Lucius asked.

Kayson cleared his throat. "This is my own intention. If it were Dumbledore, he would definitely have you infiltrate the Death Eaters, live under the same roof as Lord Voldemort, and risk your lives daily to relay information about Lord Voldemort to him."

After saying that, he looked at Lucius, whose expression was a bit stiff, and shrugged helplessly. "That's just the kind of person he is, can't you tell?"

"Hmm." Lucius nodded, though it was unclear which option he had chosen.

"Any other questions?" Kayson asked.

"What if you lose?"

"Then you should quickly take Draco away and never return to England. It's that simple."

Lucius breathed a sigh of relief. "I thought you would say you wouldn't lose, or that if we didn't want to lose, we would have to do something."

"Although I don't want to say this, given your bloodline, if someone like Lord Voldemort causes trouble in England, it's already very good that you choose to run away instead of messing around with him."

"Then what if you win?" Lucius nodded and continued to ask.

"Of course, you'll come back and live peaceful lives."

"I'm talking about the situation."

Kayson looked up at the sky and pondered for a moment. If Dumbledore were to choose a way to restore the Ministry of Magic's vitality at that time, would he become the idea man? If he became the idea man, what ideas would he come up with?

More importantly, those obstinate pure-bloods, along with Lord Voldemort's downfall, had been thrown into Azkaban. In that case...

"A significant portion of pure-bloods will disappear from the magic world. From then on, the term 'pure-blood' should no longer be mentioned. Given Dumbledore's character, he would likely support a new Minister of magic, possibly one of pure Muggle blood."

"But isn't that enough?" Kayson asked, spreading his hands.

Narcissa reached out and squeezed Draco's hand tightly.

Lucius, who had no one to hold his hand, nodded. "Enough."

"Hmm... anything else? Draco told me there's a damaged Alchemy item here that needs me to repair," Kayson asked.

Lucius looked at Draco, as he didn't remember saying that, but he wasn't angry. Instead, he felt a sense of emotion that his son had finally grown up.

To trick the Professor into coming over, his foolish son had even learned to lie and deceive. Although this behavior was more detrimental than beneficial in the long run, at least for now, his foolish son had finally gained a tiny bit of true inheritance from Slytherin House, one of them.

By any means necessary.

It's just that next time he should learn how to look at problems from a longer perspective, just like now. To protect his foolish son's precious future reputation, he could only helplessly get up, go back to the storage room, randomly pick up an Alchemy item, and give it a loud smack.

"It's this one." Soon after, he came out holding a damaged black notebook.

"Oh... this guy is really in a bad state." Kayson took the book and found that only a few Runes were missing and just needed to be redrawn.

Soon, as it was almost lunchtime, Kayson was like he had nails in his backside; he had to run.

If he didn't leave soon, he probably wouldn't be able to.

Although the Longbottom family absolutely outdid the House of Malfoy in hospitality, the House of Malfoy absolutely outdid the Longbottom family in shamelessness.

If he had any interests that the House of Malfoy needed, he probably wouldn't be able to leave without them showing their true colors.

"It's getting late, and I won't bother you any longer. No need to see me out; I'll leave on my own. There's still someone stewing in the pot. Bye-bye." With that, he didn't wait for the three Malfoys to utter a single word and quickly left with Ender Teleportation.

"I remember there's an Apparition ward here."

Back in the office, Kayson stretched vigorously. Sirius, sitting on the sofa, asked curiously, "What were you doing at the Malfoys' house?"

"If Lord Voldemort ever makes a comeback, they will most likely choose to run away instead of helping him," Kayson explained.

"Cowards..." Sirius said without holding back.

"Everyone has the right to cherish their own life; you can't simply call them cowards," Kayson retorted.

"Alright... at least they won't choose to aid and abet evil this time," Sirius grumbled.

"That's very good. You can't expect everyone to be as great as you, to betray their own class and truly fight for the majority," Kayson responded.

"I'm not as great as you say, probably... What are the House of Malfoy like? How many of them are there now?"

Sirius asked casually.

"Three: Draco, Lucius Malfoy, and Narcissa Malfoy."

Sirius subconsciously wanted to ask about his sister Narcissa's recent situation, but awkward emotions made him too embarrassed to say it. Perhaps he didn't want to reveal that he, a prodigal son exiled from the House of Black, still cared about relatives on the family tree.

That would make him seem pathetic.
