Itachi's voice was like poison, every word carrying a bone-chilling cold. Below the steps, three men in Uchiha clan uniforms stood in a semi-circle, their hands casually resting on their ninja tool pouches.
"What do you think?" the leader's Sharingan glowed crimson in the darkness. "About the sudden disappearance of Shisui Uchiha..."
"To this day, he's neither seen alive nor found dead. According to the mission records, the last person he saw... should have been you, Itachi Uchiha?"
Itachi could clearly see the suspicion and hostility in the three men's eyes. "So you're suspecting that I did something to Shisui?"

Itachi's fingertips trembled slightly.
Satsuki Uchiha was standing at the entrance of the residence, her small hands gripping the doorframe, her obsidian-like eyes filled with terror. She had never seen her sister like this—the sister who was always so gentle was now pinning a clan member to the wall like a demon, a darkness she couldn't understand churning in her eyes.

Itachi's breath caught for a moment.
