As Aetherion walked away from the prank he had just pulled on Poseidon, he couldn't help but giggle to himself and laugh at the situation.

'Take that, you lustful idiot,'

Aetherion thought, amused.

Now in an even better mood than before, he hummed a tune as he walked, reflecting on the last 15 years that had flown by rather quickly.

Time had felt strange—barely noticeable to him or others, especially to someone who was once mortal.

The first ten years were spent with his family, enjoying peaceful moments and raising Zeus, who—like Poseidon—was lustful, but had a charm Poseidon lacked.

He also recalled all the times he had to beat them up for their foolish behavior.

Poseidon, in particular, had once tried to force himself on some dryads, which enraged Aetherion enough to severely beat him up.

That moment left a lasting fear in both Poseidon and Zeus who was watching.

But in time, they started to behave more responsibly.

Perhaps not noble, but at least functional scumbags.

His sisters, on the other hand, were much more pleasant.

They shared many fun and memorable moments together.

Even Hades, despite being his opposite in personality—more eerie, silent, and harder to approach—got along with him well.

They often bonded over teasing their younger brothers, especially Poseidon and sometimes Zeus.

Aetherion even played wingman a few times to help Hades get closer to some woman once they started recruiting allies.

In the early years, their mother focused on nurturing the six younger siblings, while Aetherion, already matured, stepped into more of a guiding role.

Over time, the others began to open up and enjoy themselves more, with their pride and personalities gradually shining through.

By the eleventh year, more and more immortal had begun expressing their dissatisfaction with Kronos' rule—especially due to his paranoia toward Aetherion and his siblings.

With a plan devised by Metis, Aetherion began seeking out allies who had grown discontent with Kronos.

He managed to recruit powerful beings such as Helios, Selene, and Eos—the Sun, the Moon, and the Dawn.

To earn their respect, he even fought Helios, though their duel was left unsatisfied for Aetherion.

Helios had grown significantly stronger since then.

Where once he was a gentle giant, now he stood just as tall as Aetherion and even more muscular.

Over time, a solid friendship blossomed between them.

And they weren't the only ones.

Many more allies had joined their cause, forming a truly formidable force.

But it wasn't only Aetherion who gathered allies—his siblings also rallied powerful figures to the rebellion against their father. Some of these allies were even stronger than his siblings were at the time, which made their success all the more surprising.

A few of them had become key members of the war council and among the most important figures in the conflict.

His sister Hera, in particular, managed to gather a formidable group of women to their side, including Asteria, the Titaness of Stars, Prophecies, and Nocturnal Magic.

But despite that, Aetherion knew there were still threats within Kronos' high council—especially the Twelve Great Ones.

Some of them would have to be taken out if they ever hoped to win this war.

As these thoughts ran through his mind, Aetherion noticed Demeter sitting peacefully on the grass, weaving flower crowns.

Aetherion had a smirk on his face as he walked slowly and stealthily toward Demeter, his hood still pulled low, making it impossible for her to sense him.

Demeter was humming a soft tune to herself as she crafted flower crowns, completely unaware of his presence.

Finally, right next to her ear, he whispered her name.

"—!"

Demeter let out a quiet, girlish scream, startled by the sudden voice.

Aetherion immediately burst into laughter and pulled his hood back.

"Haha! Look at your face, Demeter !"

he said, laughing openly.

Realizing it was Aetherion , Demeter turned red with embarrassment.

Without hesitation, she punched his arm, making him groan.

"Why did you hit me?" he complained. "It was just a small joke!"

"That's what you get for scaring people, Aetherion—stupid brother,"

Demeter huffed, puffing out her cheeks as she turned away and sat back down on the grass.

Aetherion smiled nervously and gave a small bow.

"I apologize, Lady Demeter, for my lack of respect,"

he said in an overly polite—yet clearly mocking—tone.

Demeter glanced at him, then smiled smugly, her eyes filled with innocent mischief.

"Yes, know your place, servant,"

she replied before letting out a soft chuckle.

She lifted the flower crown she had been making and held it out to him.

"I'm glad you're back, brother. Here—this is for you."

Aetherion accepted it with a gentle smile and patted her head.

"Thank you, Demeter. You're the best,"

he said cheerfully as he placed the crown on his head.

Striking a dramatic pose, he pointed at himself.

"Well? How do I look?"

Demeter giggled.

"You look great, brother. But you might need a few more flowers. Come, sit down."

Aetherion hesitated for a moment before sitting beside her.

"Yeah… maybe it might suit me."

"It will," she said happily, weaving different-colored flowers into his hair with careful hands. "You will look even more handsome!"

Aetherion smiled quietly.

Of all his siblings, Demeter was the most innocent.

Not the sharpest, nor the strongest tactician—but pure, kind, and free like the nature she embodied.

Even through Hera called her an idiot sometimes, though Aetherion never would.

Still, her naïveté made him protective of her.

That was also why she focused more on healing rather than combat.

Though she shared domains similar to his—nature among them—Aetherion had personally trained her well.

Thanks to him.

She was strong and he no longer worried like he once had.

As Demeter worked on his hair, Aetherion hummed along with her tune—until a shout echoed in the distance.

"AETHERION!"

He instantly recognized the voice.

Without hesitation, Aetherion raised his hand and formed a barrier around Demeter.

"Brother… has he come to challenge you again?"

she asked calmly.

Aetherion nodded.

Demeter immediately spread another protective barrier over the surrounding plants and trees.

"Then kick his ass, brother,"

she said sweetly.

"Of course."

Aetherion gave her a thumbs-up.

A blinding streak of light descended from the sun at terrifying speed.

In an instant, it was upon him.

Aetherion raised his arms to dodge—but the attacker shifted mid-strike, as if seeing the truth of the movement itself.

The punch landed cleanly against Aetherion's left cheek, sending him sliding back several meters, ichor dripping from his lip.

Aetherion wiped it away and smirked.

"I see you're here again, Helios."

Helios landed nearby, a radiant grin spreading across his face.

"Of course," he replied. "I came to challenge you again, my rival."

His smile widened, burning with confidence.

"This time… I will win!"
