In the northeast of the world, hidden behind vast forests and veiled by nature itself, something moved in secrecy—something only the most perceptive beings could sense.
A small army advanced: one hundred minor gods and thousands of lesser gods, all marching silently behind four figures.
At the very front walked Aetherion, accompanied by Hera, Nike, and Kratos.
Their destination was clear—to assault one of the Great Twelve Titans, Pallas, with the goal of capturing him.
One might wonder how such a large force could move without being detected.
The answer was simple.
Aetherion was using a combination of his nature domain and moon domain to cloak the entire unit.
The army was camouflaged completely—rendered invisible to the naked eye, their divine energy suppressed and masked from the senses of other deities.
They moved like shadows, silent and empty, as though they did not exist at all.
As they advanced, quiet murmurs rippled through the ranks—nervousness mixed with excitement.
"I can't wait to fight those punks!"
"Yeah, yeah—we're going to win and capture one of the Twelve Great Titans!"
"What Great Titan? Just focus on not embarrassing yourself, you fool!"
"Hey, what did you say?! Fuck you and go hide behind a nymphs skirt!"
While others were nervous and fearful of the battle ahead.
"But… it's scary. Have you seen what's happening out there?"
"Do you really think we can win?"
"I don't know… maybe."
"Stop thinking so negatively."
"You don't sound very convincing either."
Despite the whispers, the army continued forward.
Aetherion remained lost in his thoughts—until he finally spoke, his voice carrying clearly through the ranks.
"There's no need to worry," he said calmly. "This battle will be ours. Hold your heads high and focus on moving forward."
At his command, silence fell.
Yet Aetherion's attention soon shifted inward again—toward something strange hovering before him.
A screen of starlight floated in the air, as though the constellations themselves had formed it.
This was a technique he had learned from Asteria—a method of using the stars to observe distant battlefields across the world.
Through it, he watched the war unfold.
He saw his mother battling Coeus.
Themis engaging Iapetus.
Zeus, Hades, and Poseidon fighting a powerful major god.
Helios clashing head-on with one of the Great Titans.
Most striking of all was Thanatos, whose avatars were wreaking havoc across Perses's domain.
Even as Perses and his men destroyed them one after another, more continued to appear, driving him into mounting rage.
Aetherion watched silently.
Waiting.
Waiting for his moment to fight, Aetherion truly yearned for it.
There was nothing he wanted more right now.
His body practically oozed with excitement.
"I wish we could just attack already?"
he muttered, in a complained tone.
"Be patient, idiot,"Hera said in a scolded tone."Have some self-control. The time to attack will come soon! You just have to wait."
"But I can't wait," he muttered under his breath in a whiny tone. "I just want to fight right now."
"Yeah, I want to fight too," Nike added eagerly, her eyes burning with fighting spirit and determination.
"Same!"
Kratos said gruffly, cracking his knuckles.
Hera, who heard all three of them, could only shake her head and facepalm.
"You guys are unbearable,"
she muttered.
Before Aetherion could respond, the diamond in his hand began to glow and vibrate.
Light spilled from it, and a projection formed in front of them.
Metis appeared.
Her expression was serious, her aura commanding.
Instantly, Aetherion and the three beside him straightened, their expressions turning solemn as they waited for her words.
"It is time," Metis said. "You may proceed with the attack."
She said nothing more.
The projection vanished.
Aetherion blinked a few times.
"Wow… not even a 'hello' or 'how have you been,'"
he muttered, shaking his head with a small smile.
Then he raised his voice.
"Did you all hear that?"
Nike, Hera and Kratos, as did all the minor gods, and lesser guards turned toward him, excitement flickering across their faces.
"It is time to attack," Aetherion declared. "We will finally move against Kronos's forces. Our primary objective is to capture Pallas. That is our main goal."
He swept his gaze across the army.
"To achieve this, you all will take care of his army and all subordinates beneath him. That is your duty. Do you understand?!"
"UNDERSTOOD!"
the army roared in unison.
Thanks to the camouflage technique cloaking them, no sound escaped beyond their ranks.
Aetherion nodded, satisfied.
Pride burned brightly in their eyes—and that was good.
They would need that confidence when facing one of the Twelve Great Titans and his forces.
As they moved forward, the terrain shifted.
At last, they stood before a vast domain—multiple ominous and beautiful temples scattered across the land, with an enormous palace looming at its center.
There were no walls.
'Arrogant, as expected.'
It was truly arrogant.
There were no guards posted—nothing at all.
It was as if none of the deities within the city had even considered the possibility of an attack.
They hadn't reacted in the slightest, as though the rumours of the rebellion spreading across the world had never registered with them.
But that only made things better for the attackers.
It made the job far easier than it ever should have been—and that arrogance would become Pallas's downfall.
Had there been even minimal defenses protecting his domain, Pallas domain would not be suffering from the attack Aetherion was going to pull.
Aetherion smiled faintly at that.
'They never even considered the possibility of an attack,' he thought. 'How careless.'
He felt countless signatures of divine energy within the domain.
Without hesitation, he stepped forward and rose into the sky, the army following behind him.
He glanced back at Hera, Nike, and Kratos.
"Remember the plan," he said calmly. "Stick to it."
"Yes, brother."
"Understood."
"No worries."
With that, Aetherion ascended higher, flying directly toward Pallas's domain.
Then his voice rang out—loud enough for the domain itself to hear.
"Parallel Expansion."
The world was instantly flooded with power.
Yet nothing visibly changed?
Reality remained the same—yet not.
They now stood within a parallel existence, layered atop the world itself.
And within this silent overlap, an execution was about to begin.
