Lenard did not appear angry, he simply said to the paladins:
"Let Minister Rasgar Relvin negotiate with them," said Lenard as he made the projection of the ancient tower disappear.
Lenard looked in the direction where the body used by the warrior fighting Balac was on the verge of destruction, unable to resist the powerful demonic energy he was using.
"We retreat!"
After his words, Lenard, the cracklers, the founders, and the powerful warrior withdrew.
"Damn it, I hate diplomacy and all that crap," exclaimed the warrior as he retreated.
By nightfall, both armies had stopped fighting.

The next day. In the middle of the plain ravaged by the fierce fighting of the previous day.
A tall, athletic man wearing sumptuous armor with a silver cape, his presence was imposing; he was Rasgar Relvin, a warrior in the seventh spiritual core (middle level) and the empire's minister of war. Beside him were half a dozen imperial paladins.
