One month later.
The imposing temple had been built.
In the main hall of the temple, in front of the altar, Mart erected a golem using earth, gold, powdered ivory, and an unknown metal.
The golem took on a solemn form, that of an elderly man with ivory skin, dark eyes, black horns, and a slender body, dressed in a blue, red, and gold robe.
Inside the golem, Mart placed one of the cores he had extracted when he killed the demons who had allied themselves with the Cudernic and the corrupt or traitorous councilors.
The core carried by the golem was that of a sixth-rank demon.
In addition to the core, Mart spent an entire week in the temple, under the pretext of praying to Alvat. During that week, Mart created hundreds and hundreds of demonic diagrams with coded information and integrated the diagrams into the golem's body until it gave the golem the ability to reason like a believer of Alvat.
"My lord," said the Golem.
