The Mabeasts' confusion lasted only for a second.
Their animal senses and nose were better than their eyes.
The voice from above, the scent of their prey carried on the wind, their heads all snapped upward in unison.
Their dozens of pairs of glowing eyes fixed on the sight of the man floating in the air as if he were standing on solid ground.
Gojo looked down at the sea of upturned, snarling faces and smiled. He slowly raised his right hand, bringing it up beside his face.
He extended his index finger and thumb, folding the others down to make the simple shape of a gun. He took a moment to aim, his head tilted slightly, as if he were a child playing a game in his backyard.
"Let's start with something simple, shall we?" he said, his voice carrying easily through the clearing.
He pointed his finger-gun not at any single Mabeast, but at an empty spot in the air, a few feet above the very center of the horde.
A tiny, brilliant speck of blue light, smaller than a pea, materialized at the tip of his finger. It was beautiful, like a miniature blur ball.
He made a soft "pew" sound with his lips as he fired it. The tiny blue light shot from his finger and hung in the air above the monsters, invisible to their eyes.
To Ram, and to the Mabeasts below, nothing seemed to happen. There was no explosion, no ball of blue light, no gust of wind.
In this world, no one had the cursed energy needed to see cursed techniques.
They could not see the tiny, blue vortex he had just created. But that didn't mean they couldn't feel or see its effects.
For a single, silent moment, everything was still.
Then, the world turned upside down.
An invisible force, as sudden and as powerful as a powerful magnet to metal, grabbed hold of every Mabeast on the ground.
It was like a magnet of unimaginable strength had been switched on, and every single monster was a piece of metal.
They were ripped from their feet, their legs scrambling for a hold on the ground that was no longer there as they couldn't stay in the ground.
From her place on Gojo's back, Ram could only watch in stunned, in silence. One moment, the Mabeasts were a snarling carpet of black fur.
The next, they were a chaotic storm of flying bodies, being dragged kicking and screaming into the air. They flew toward that single, empty point in space where Gojo had aimed.
It wasn't a gentle pull. It was a violent, brutal yanking. The Mabeasts at the center of the group were the first to be sucked in.
They slammed into each other with sickening, bone-shattering crunches. The sound of their thick skulls cracking and their ribs snapping was loud and wet.
But it didn't stop there. The invisible force was not just pulling them together; it was crushing them.
More and more Mabeasts were dragged into the growing pile. The powerful growls of hunger and aggression turned into high-pitched, terrified shrieks of pain as their bodies were crushed and squeezed.
They were being forced together, their flesh and bones twisting and breaking as they were compressed into a grotesque, writhing ball of meat, fur, and blood.
The ball grew larger and larger as more bodies were added to the outside, their screams cut short as the pressure broke them.
Ram stared, her mind unable to process what she was seeing. This wasn't magic as she knew it. Magic had rules, chants, and limits. This was something else entirely.
She couldn't understand. She didn't even know what was going on, but she could tell whatever gojo did was working… in a very cruel and violent and grotesque way.
Gojo watched the gruesome ball of compressed Mabeasts finish forming, his smile never faltering as he looked at them like watching a movie or a video.
Then, with a simple, casual flick of his wrist, he released the technique.
The invisible force vanished. The mangled sphere of gore, now a silent, dripping mass of what used to be a hundred monsters, hung in the air for a second before it fell.
It hit the ground with a wet, heavy THUD that shook the entire clearing, splattering a disgusting rain of blood and viscera in beside its spot.
A deep, unnatural silence fell over the forest, broken only by the soft dripping sound from the pile of dead monsters.
"Can't have you all die from a single attack now, can we?" Gojo said cheerfully, as if he were talking about a game. "I have to show off a little, too. So, shall we advance to the next step?"
He floated gently down, landing as softly as a feather on the blood-soaked ground right next to the horrifying ball of mangled all together bodies.
He let Ram and Meili slide gently off his back and onto their feet, the invisible force holding them finally gone.
The remaining Mabeasts, the ones on the outer edges of the horde that had escaped the pull or more likely were spared so Gojo could show off later with other techniques, stared at the scene.
Their simple predator minds couldn't understand the fear or the horror of what had just happened.
Or more likely they didn't have the choice even if they did.
All they knew was that a huge part of their pack was gone, and the source of their pain and their initial target was standing right in front of them… their very eyes.
Their confusion was now replaced by a red-hot, enraged frenzy.
With a unified growl that was rather louder and more furious than before, the remaining hundreds of survivors charged.
Mabeasts snapping jaws rushed toward the lone man qith two backpacks standing in the middle of the carnage.
But the man didn't have any fear or worries on his face, but rather a smile that was looking forward to more at the moment, while keeping ram and the girl behind him as a mascot backpacks on his back.

A/N: First of all sorry! It seems people didn't liked the last chapter where i went into ram side and in too much detail. So, sorry about that and rest assured that from this point onward, i will take it fast pace and with little details to not expand the chapter.
This chapter was already written and was on my discord so i'm just uploading it here. I will finish the fight and whatever is left in the next chapter.
