Luca checked a message from Fabio and then tucked the phone back into his pocket. He paid the bill and left the cafe house with Sara.
As he was about to take the driver's seat, Sara stopped him. "I'll drive," she said, extending her hand out. Luca placed the keys gently on her palm and smiled, appreciating her need for control and normalcy.
She settled into the driver's seat while Luca sat comfortably in the passenger seat. She started the engine and drove them toward home.
"You've been searching for your grandfather's murderer for such a long time," Sara began, immediately transitioning to the serious topic. "Didn't you get any concrete evidence so far? And how do you plan to find it in the future? Also, how are you doing it currently? Does Remo look into it?" Sara asked many questions at once, needing to understand the full scope of his mission.
