Chapter 215 - The Road Toward the Father

The First Hell was no longer what it once was.

The Abyss of Ash had grown half silent.

The ashes no longer whispered of sins…

they seemed to be watching.

Kim walked slowly.

He did not vanish into shadows.

He did not activate any skill.

He did not display power.

Every step was calculated.

Not from fear of an enemy…

but from fear of himself.

Inside his chest, just behind his ribs,

the gate rested.

Still.

Yet its presence was undeniable—

like a cold wall separating his heart from something that must never open.

The System spoke quietly:

"The path to the Seventh Lower Dimension requires passage through six overlapping layers.

Your body cannot endure prolonged combat."

Kim did not argue.

He no longer asked, How do I become stronger?

Now he asked, How do I arrive?

Among the ruins of the king's castle,

he found what he was searching for.

An ancient gate.

Not white like the laws of equilibrium.

Not black like his chaos.

But deep violet,

pulsing with ancient blood energy.

A scent… familiar.

Demonic.

He stood before it for a long time.

His hand did not tremble.

But his eyes changed.

Memories of childhood.

His mother's voice.

Her laughter he once believed was completely human.

Then the truth.

Angel.

Demon.

A seal.

The lie of the accident.

None of it had been random.

It had been arranged.

He whispered quietly:

"If you're there…

I won't come as a son seeking an embrace."

Silence.

"I'll come as someone seeking answers."

He extended his hand toward the gate.

The moment his fingers touched its surface—

The gate trembled.

The energy in his chest shifted.

Not an explosion.

A reaction.

As if the blood flowing through his veins

had answered an ancient call.

The System announced:

"Partial resonance detected.

Probability: Direct blood relation."

The gate did not reject him.

It split open.

As if it had been waiting.

Before stepping through, he paused.

He looked back.

The First Hell.

The land of ash.

The fractured sky.

This place had witnessed his madness…

his fall…

and his survival.

He felt no victory.

No regret.

Only the end of a phase.

Then he stepped forward.

The transition was not a fall.

It was pressure.

As if existence itself folded around him.

Colors vanished.

Sound disappeared.

Even his thoughts slowed.

And when sensation returned—

He was not in an abyss.

Nor a valley.

Nor a battlefield.

But within a vast dark expanse,

where stone islands floated in empty void.

Above—

A sky that was not truly a sky.

A colossal red eye… closed.

Not like the Eye of the Abyss.

Deeper.

Older.

It resembled… inheritance.

The System spoke in a voice quieter than usual:

"You have arrived in the Seventh Lower Dimension."

A short silence.

"This is not a Hell of torture."

"This is the Hell of Bloodlines."

Kim slowly raised his head.

Inside him—

the gate remained still.

Yet a faint sensation began to form.

Not danger.

But proximity.

As if someone within this dimension…

had felt him.

And that feeling was not entirely hostile.

Kim whispered:

"I'm here."

For the first time in a long while…

his voice held no rage.

Only weight.

The next stage would not be a battle of destruction—

but a confrontation with blood.

With the past.

With a truth he could no longer escape.
