Away from the dressing room, outside the seamster's building, a carriage pulled up in front of it. A fancy carriage only a royalty would own. The door of the carriage opened and the occupant stepped out showcasing her expensive shoes. The Queen of valour. Valour is a town where the inhabitants are of rich folks also where the king resides. The town is know for their bravery and courage especially during wars. The Queen of valour clymnestra is a woman of power, pride and beauty. She's is a creature that was never spoken of, a creature that seem to have gone extinct. Werecoyote. Talking about these creatures is a taboo as they were the strongest, most feral and dangerous creatures.
Clymnestra was the last surviving werecoyote and she has to live like a werewolf.
Hearing the sound of the carriage, Henry quickly came outside to see who it was and as soon as he saw the carriage, he recognized it immediately as it was the one the Queen normally ride on.
Giving a deep bow, he said;
"Your majesty, you are welcome, what brings you here today?".
"Rise, you asks silly questions Henry, sometimes it sounds stupid". Clymnestra said and they both laughed it off lightly.
"I felt like visiting as it had been two weeks since I last visited". Clymnestra said while making her way in and Henry quickly followed behind.
"My queen, you could have sent for me and I'll would have been there in a jiffy. You shouldn't have wasted your time and energy to come all the way here".
Henry said as he knew the journey from valour to Glasgow was nearly four hours.
"Why does it feel as if you are chasing me away?".
Clymnestra halted.
"Not at all my queen, I wouldn't dare". Henry quickly bowed.
"Mmm".
"There's a clothe I've working on my queen". Henry said
"Who's it for?" Clymnestra asked as she made her into the main room where all the ladies where sitting and as soon as they saw her, they quickly bowed, some bowed in respect, some bowed reluctantly, halfheartedly.
"For you". Henry replied.
"I don't remember asking you to stitch any dress for me". Clymnestra said.
"It is a gift for you". Henry said having clymnestra turn around to look at him.
Though Henry was off average height, clymnestra was taller than him making look down at him.
"For free?" She asked and he nodded.
"That's so thoughtful of you, I will never forget your gift to me". She added and opened the door that led to the dressing room which was the same room Sapphire was in.
Alarmed, Henry wanted to stop clymnestra from opening the door as he didn't know how she would react when she sees Sapphire. But when they got in, Sapphire was nowhere to be seen and Henry heaved a sigh of relief.
'Where has she gone?' he pondered.
"Are you done with the dress?". Clymnestra asked as she sat on the plush couch.
"Yes but it hasn't been ironed. I was going to do it today and bring it tomorrow". Henry replied.
"Bring it let me see it". She ordered and Henry quickly excused himself before she changed her mind.
Meanwhile Sapphire was behind the large dressing mirror. She peeked through the little gap to see who was in the room.
Seeing the woman with a blonde hair and oval face.
She clearly heard henry calling her a queen but, 'is she really a queen?'. She wondered.
When she tried to move back to her previous position, her leg mistakenly hit one of the wooden stands of the mirror and she hissed silently.
Clymnestra turned her head to side where the sound came from.
"Did Henry start catering for cats?". She muttered to herself and stood up to check if there was something there as she doubted it was a rat.
"Whatever or whoever you are, come out". Clymnestra commanded and sapphire hesitated before moving away from the back of the mirror to face clymnestra.
Clymnestra looked at the pair of eyes that glaring at her.
"Who are you?". Clymnestra asked as the little girl didn't look poor.
"Who are you?". Sapphire returned the question that had clymnestra's eyes widen.
The question gave her mixed feelings that she couldn't describe and she swallowed the anger that was bubbling in her.
Inhaling the air, clymnestra squatted to Sapphire's level of height.
Sapphire still glaring asked again; "who are you?".
"I am the queen of this country. Queen clymnestra and you?". Clymnestra answered.
Sapphire stared at clymnestra for ten seconds before blurting; "Gemini". Sapphire didn't know why she chosed that name. Was she scared?.
"Gemini?, that's a beautiful name". Clymnestra said and smiled.
"Who are your parents?". Clymnestra asked.
"I have none". Sapphire answered.
As she had told clymnestra her name was Gemini, she decided to go with it maybe forever?.
"What do you mean?". Clymnestra raised a brow at her answer.
"I'm an orphan". Gemini said and clymnestra replied with an, "oh".
Stepping closer to clymnestra, she decided to use her charm on her, she placed a hand on clymnestra's face and said;
"Adopt me". And clymnestra blinked surprised.
"Why?". She asked.
"Make me your daughter and you'll have a child of your own only if you treat me well enough". Gemini answered and clymnestra turned dumbstruck.
Clymnestra suddenly wondered what was taking Henry that long.
Clymnestra wasn't sure how she was supposed to answer to this and Gemini seeing clymnestra taking her own sweet time reply as she seems lost said;
"It's fine if you don't want to adopt me. I was merely saying". She said as her voice was always above a whisper and she stepped away from clymnestra making her to the door and clymnestra quickly caught her arm.
"Wait, how I'm sure this is not blackmail?". Clymnestra asked.
"It isn't. I just need a roof over my head and a parent". Gemini said tiredly as she stressed the word 'parent' and that was probably the longest conversation she ever had with anyone.
"Fine". Clymnestra agreed.
"No maltreatment". Gemini said and clymnestra nodded.
Suddenly the door opened and Henry walked carefully with the dress he ironed few seconds ago. He turned alarmed with the sight in front of him and he quickly tried to salvage the situation.
"Uhm, milady she was just about leaving". He said and walked towards Gemini.
"No need for that". Clymnestra waved him off and Henry wondered what she meant.
"This is my daughter. Not everyone knows her. I've been looking for her". Clymnestra explained calmly and Henry nodded his head vigorously.
"Forgive me for my ignorance milady". Henry said and he bowed deeply.
"This is the dress milady".
Clymnestra walked towards the dress. It was an off shoulder rubicund dress with traces of peach flowery designs. It has the right amount of layers and it was light to move around making it wearable to any party.
"I hope you like it milady". Henry asked and clymnestra nodded.
"Thank you for your kind gesture Henry. I'll repay you anyway I can". Clymnestra expressed how grateful she was and Henry eyes fell back on Gemini and she Gemini met his and glared at him which made him look away from her.
"Don't mention it my queen, it's my pleasure. Anything for you". Henry bowed
"I'll have it packaged and sent to the castle tomorrow". He said
"Can I get it before 10 AM in the morning?". She asked and Henry answered yes.
Turning to Gemini, clymnestra said; "let's go home dear, Daddy is waiting". Smiling at her but Gemini only stared at her.
