Pauline's POV
"Easy there, wolfboy," I whispered against his mouth, trying to catch my breath after the way he had claimed my lips so hungrily. His body pressed against mine with an urgency that made it seem like he was still caught in his rut, even though I knew he wasn't.
My gaze dropped to the obvious bulge straining against his pants, and heat flooded my cheeks. The reality of what we were doing crashed over me like a cold wave. Here I was, getting intimate with a man who believed this was all just some vivid dream.
"I need more," Logan whispered desperately, pulling me from my spiraling thoughts. "Please, I need more of you."
I caught my lower lip between my teeth, weighing my options. Taking a shaky breath, I summoned the courage to push this further.
"Then take off your clothes," I managed to say, attempting a confident smile.
