"You would never let me go." I shook my head. "We needed information. They would know I wasn't alone."
"So you decided to put yourself in danger." Alpha Kane smirked. "What have you learned, Zara? Tell me."
"I think they took my brother." I frowned. "And that's just the beginning."
"Then you haven't learned anything." Alpha Kane smirked, shaking his head.
New memories flooded my mind, images flooding my head.
"You have Ethan." I was astonished. "You have Ethan. Obviously, that means something."
"Ethan is nothing." Alpha Kane said the word with contempt. "He refuses to talk, no matter how much we torture him."
I should have felt sorry for Ethan, I really should have, but I couldn't. The thought of torturing someone made me sick, but he'd put himself in this position.
"He'll break." I shook my head. "Ethan isn't strong."
"Zara." Alpha Kane exhaled sharply, pinching the bridge of his nose. "You're lucky you survived."
"I knew they wouldn't hurt me." I shook my head.
