My eyes snapped open suddenly but thinned when I noticed that I was in a room that was not mine; and I instantly knew this because while my room decoration was upscale and minimalist, this place was dark and gothic.
And reeked of bad intentions.
I was lying on a gothic queen sized bed with dark red bedsheets, a duvet that looked like it's seen better days and silk black curtains draping from every corner of the bed until it gave it a majestic 1900s look.
I sat up quickly, intending to check my surroundings only to cry out when heavy metals pressed into my skin.
My eyes widened then, not because I was scared— oh, yes I was scared— but also because I realized then and there that there were heavy metal cuffs clasped around my wrists… and ankles, now that I think of it.
