Have you ever been in a situation where you do not know what to do, where to go, or how to navigate through the next string of activities. All you know is that you wanted to be out of there, out of that phase… and most of all, you wanted nothing more than to wake up and realize that it was all a bad dream?
If yes, then I would have you know that that was the exact phase I was in right now.
I had that same pounding in my chest feeling that you would have had then as I cradled a limp Jarek to my chest, shaking him desperately as if that would keep him awake even though it was only for a while.
But I was wrong.
I was always wrong.
He was not stirring awake. He was not moving. Hell, I wasn't even sure that he was breathing and to make matters worse— for me— his blood was everywhere, and when I say 'everywhere,' I mean: EVERY FUCKING WHERE! From my clothes to the floor, to my hair and goddess, I could swear that I felt it on my hands too.
