Blood Maple struggled fiercely, but he was beaten into a daze, close to death, unable to control even his own muscles, only flailing his fists and feet in a fit of rage.
Counterattack! Otherwise, he would be killed!
Long whip, whip technique, my whip technique—Absolute Second Tier, Barong Whip Technique!
"Barong, the great snake, the greatness of Barong, it can eat elephants, and its bones only emerge after three years."
After the Heaven and Earth Manifestation, Barong could not only eat elephants, but also swallow mountains!
Blood Maple's crimson serpent let out a long hiss by his hand, and in an instant, daylight turned dark, as if it had swallowed the sun whole; the serpent's body swelled, and its red scales were tinged with golden light, resplendent and magnificent like a divine dragon lying among the clouds.
Barong opened its giant mouth, and the dense shadow cast by its enormous body directly engulfed Sun Lichai's figure; this bite would surely swallow Superior Reverends whole.
Sun Lichai unleashed her final punch.
A faint golden light flickered on her fist, as if countless epiphyllum were blooming.
During her years in the Zheng Yuan Kou, she had also comprehended the true meaning of Sumeru.
This punch was a Super Divine First Tier, Heavenly Pillar Fall!
Superior Reverends punched, and Barong swallowed Buddha!
Boom—!
A mushroom cloud rose from the ground.
Endless dust and air collided, forming a yellowish, fluffy, and wrinkled smoke ball.
A golden serpent flew out of the dust, circling and dancing in the air a few times, then opened its mouth towards the dim sun; the devoured light was returned to the great sun in the sky, and then a giant leaped out from the serpent's mouth, as if breaking free from a cage, or perhaps gaining new life.
Barong shattered, scattering a sky full of blood rain, and a Fuyu Sword Hilt flew into the halo behind Sun Lichai.
A meteor flew from a distance; it was the Taoist who had re-condensed a trace of internal energy and was using a flying sword technique to guide the Fuyu Sword Hilt.
The nine Divine Sword hilts converged into one!
Sun Lichai, scarred but still radiant, slowly turned around and gazed directly at the sword wheel; the nine hilts gradually melted as they rotated, and the halo spread out, converging into a disk, like a colorful vortex, drifting with hazy light dust.
In the center of the vortex, a gap for a sword hilt gradually recessed; seeing this, Sun Lichai took out the Fuyu Sword Hilt and placed it into the vortex.
The Ten Divine Swords gathered.
In an instant, heaven and earth trembled, and Sun Lichai's body swayed, almost collapsing.
The radiant sword wheel suddenly erupted with dense black mist, instantly dyeing the world black.
This tide-like mist was not a breeding ground for evil; on the contrary, it was pure death, mixed with rusty iron and old blood. In the endless shadows, the vast galaxy in the sky became visible, as if the sun had set in an instant, and night had taken over the firmament.
People lingering on the land of Shenzhou could all see the sky, where countless stars converged, forming a bright and splendid War God.
He had three faces, each with seven eyes, ten outstretched arms, and wielded strange weapons.
The Great Black Heaven Demon King, God of Destiny, End of Reincarnation.
Demon God Shu.
Sun Lichai looked up at Shu and immediately realized that He only had a physical form but no soul; the Ten Divine Swords had only summoned His body.
Just then, an epiphyllum with a blue base and golden patterns rose on the eastern horizon; within the flower was a black jade prism, covered with cracks, emitting intense white light, like a sealed morning sun.
"Seventeen myriad years of subduing evil demons, searching the human world to reveal the true Buddha. Looking back, one sighs at the many trials and tribulations, an inch of spiritual mountain, how many times has heroism flared. Laughing at the Bodhisattva, who knows not the true taste of the mundane.
"Once seated in the Lingxiao Palace, reincarnation's twists and turns, the soul like a dream. Looking afar, one knows the body is a transient guest, the starry river like floating clouds, the calamities of Kyushu. The will is like iron, the Avici Hell is but a trifle."
A Buddhist verse, from an unknown source, echoed softly.
Bang!
The jade prism shattered, revealing a benevolent Bodhisattva, who was none other than the Buddhist Son Simon.
He held a golden scroll painting, which he unfurled, revealing the true body of Xiang Shu roaring and leaping within the painting.
Simon looked at the Great Black Heaven Demon King in the sky and immediately understood His state.
He beckoned, calling Sun Lichai to his side.
The two met at The Ends of the Earth, deep in the East Sea.
"To kill Xiang Shu, it must be done by His previous incarnation, Demon God Shu, otherwise He will continuously reincarnate and eventually invade the Pure Land, poisoning all living beings.
"These ten Divine Swords are all taken from Demon God Shu's ten weapons, they are blades of emotion. Now, one soul is missing from the ten, having drifted into the Saha world. I will send you to the past; there, you will meet the reincarnation of the Fu Yu Divine Sword. Go and bring her back, and you can also save her from a deadly calamity."
After the Buddhist Son finished his instructions, he gently exhaled, healing Superior Reverends's injuries.
Sun Lichai nodded in acceptance, and Simon looked at the giantess with much emotion, "Go, do not fear the darkness ahead, just proceed straight. I will be the bright lamp behind you."
Simon formed the Dharma-preaching mudra, his divine 念貫通宇宙 (divine thought pervading the universe), his Dharma body manifested, with its head touching the clear sky. Sun Lichai stood before the Dharma body, not even reaching its waist.
"This place is The Ends of the Earth, where space-time is chaotic, making it most convenient to traverse the past here. However, once you arrive there, you will not possess any divine abilities, only your martial arts can serve as your reliance. You must act with utmost caution. Go!"
The Dharma body unleashed a palm strike; in the center of the palm print, a swastika slowly rotated, opening a golden light gate. Through this gate, a deep forest could be seen.
Sun Lichai chuckled, her figure shrinking, and she flew into the light gate, disappearing.
...
People speak of cause and effect, yet they do not know that those with great divine powers can travel through the three worlds, reverse cause and effect, and reshape creation.
In a silent, deep valley, tall pines and green cypresses stood.
A lean old man strode along the soft, sandy riverbank.
Several miles away on the plain, a clear call echoed from afar: "Godfather! Wait for me!" It was a young girl, in the prime of youth, wearing a red dress and a hemp robe, with a long sword at her waist, her dark hair tied into two braids falling behind her head, looking around.
Godfather coughed once, not looking back, and continued forward, while using a secret sound transmission technique to send his words several miles, and upon reaching the girl, he replied carefully: "Silly girl, hurry up and catch up! You've been running around all over the place, what a waste of time!"
Godfather's gray hair was meticulously tied into a bun, interspersed with many silver strands, like a scrupulously proper old man. He looked frail, but his voice was loud, and his martial arts were surprisingly high.
When the girl heard Godfather's words, she playfully bickered, leading her thin horse as she walked, looking carefree, but her eyes were still gazing at the city tower on the horizon behind her—the human world of endless fireworks.
Here, Godfather was flattered by her sweet words, his stern face cracked into a smile, and his voice softened considerably.
"Alright, no more fooling around. This is Yanxuan Valley. The terrain here is treacherous, and powerful sorcery is hidden, so you must be cautious at all times. Hurry and follow me."
The girl stumbled and walked for more than half an hour before reaching the riverbank.
Unable to find Godfather, she called out loudly.
Godfather lightly jumped down from a tree and stood before the girl.
"You've been dawdling for so long, Godfather must be impatient by now. Why aren't you riding your horse? It's a sheer waste of time."
The girl pouted, "The horse is so thin, I don't have the heart to..."
Godfather sighed, "It's precisely because of your soft heart that I brought you to this valley. It's getting dark, quickly ride the horse into the valley." With that, he flew off on his way.
The girl sadly stroked the thin horse's fur, "Little horse, little horse, even though I'm light, I can't help but make you tired... Once I catch up with Godfather, I'll make him pull grass for you to eat himself, alright?"
The thin horse, being sentient, neighed and nodded repeatedly.
The girl giggled, leaped onto the horse's back, and together, one person and one horse, they charged towards The Ends of the Earth.
