She told him to just watch.
So Lin controlled his black-cloaked male swordsman character on the edge, spectating and waiting to shout 666.
Gabriel performed well at first.
She handled the monsters before the BOSS room with effort and sweat, one-shotting nearly all the small mobs.
Clearly, her stats were high.
Because they were in a party,
Lin could see the row of icons under Gabriel's health bar.
All sorts of buffs.
Maxed out, completely maxed.
"How's that? Impressive, right?"
After quickly clearing several waves of small mobs without damage, Gabriel's smug and expectant voice rang in his headphones.
"Impressive, 666."
Sensing her anticipation, Lin smiled faintly and praised her, kindly fulfilling her wish.
On the other side, in the apartment room.
The window curtains were tightly drawn, no lights on, leaving the room dim.
Gabriel wore a red tracksuit jacket, her legs bare as if only in panties.

The two guided their characters to the final room of the dungeon.
The dungeon BOSS appeared.
Skeleton General.
Clad in dark red heavy armor, wielding a massive thick greatsword, with tattered red cape fluttering without wind behind it.
Four elite mobs nearby.
"Need my help?"
Seeing this, Lin asked.
Gabriel: "No need, I can handle them all myself."
Lin: "Good luck."
As soon as he spoke, Gabriel's character attacked one of the elite mobs.
A fireball shot out.
One hit took off a fifth of the elite's health bar.
Pulling its aggro.
As Gabriel attacked, she also drew aggro from the BOSS and the other three elites.
The BOSS raised its greatsword and swung.
The blade glowed red, sending a sword beam at Gabriel's character.
The two rear skeleton archer elites nocked arrows and fired right after.
The two front skeleton swordsmen charged straight at her.
Gabriel hurriedly dashed her character to dodge, using i-frames to handle the multi-hit combo.
But she still took an arrow.
Health bar down about a tenth.
"Ah, damn it!"
Seeing her character take damage and fail the no-damage challenge, Gabriel let out an awkward, frustrated yell.
She'd failed to show off!
Her mind raced, and she thought of something. While dodging and counterattacking, she quickly said:
"Lin, this doesn't count."
"I got hit by a small mob, not the BOSS, so the BOSS no-damage challenge isn't failed."
"As long as the BOSS doesn't hit me, other attacks don't count."
Lin smiled at her words: "Alright, alright, it doesn't count. Gabriel, focus now."
As they spoke, Gabriel's character took another arrow.
"Okay, time to get serious."
Gabriel's expression turned serious as she focused fully on fighting.
About five minutes later.
The BOSS dissolved into light particles.
"Phew..."
Seeing the BOSS dead, Gabriel exhaled softly and wiped nonexistent sweat from her forehead.
Then she smiled and asked: "How was that? My skills okay?"
Lin: "Not bad, but Gabriel, your no-damage BOSS challenge failed long ago."
She'd soloed the BOSS,
but took several hits.
"This..."
Gabriel's face reddened with embarrassment.
But seeing her character's status, her eyes darted, and she said:
"Who says it failed? Just look—isn't my character at full health now? No damage at all."
"Don't spread lies, Lin."
"Watch out, or I'll sue you for defamation."
She'd chugged pots during the fight.
Her character's lost health was fully restored.
"...Alright, alright."
Hearing Gabriel's stubborn denial, Lin raised an eyebrow with a smile and said:
"Let's run it again. This time, I'll show you."
"???"
Gabriel narrowed her eyes.
Didn't you say your skills were average?
What are you showing off then?
Unless...
Though puzzled, she quickly restarted.
"Your turn, Lin."
Gabriel spectated from the edge.
She wanted to see his actual skill level.
Time passed quietly.
"...No way!!!"
Watching Lin's play, Gabriel froze, eyes widening, mouth agape.
Shock filled her gaze.
Not that Lin was bad.
He was too good.
Especially the final BOSS phase.
Attacks that overwhelmed her were effortless for him, no-damage throughout.
Even clearing the dungeon half a minute faster than her.
She was fully geared, eight levels higher, with max buffs and pots.
Lin didn't even pot.
Gabriel stared in disbelief: "No way, Lin, that's your 'average' skill? You lied to me!"
"If this is average, there's no such thing as pro in this game."
Lin smiled faintly: "I think I'm pretty average. Maybe you're just too noob, Gabriel."
"Hah???"
"Me, noob???"
Hearing Lin, the still-shocked Gabriel's eyes bulged, face turning red.
Not shy—pure rage.
"Lin, you..."
Her mouth moved.
She wanted to retort, but thinking of their skill gap, she trailed off.
Then Lin sighed regretfully: "Sigh, I've always wanted to carry someone for fun, but can't find anyone."
"Hm!! Yes!"
Gabriel's eyes lit up.
She grinned: "Lin—no, big shot, what do you think of me?"
"I'm pretty, sweet-voiced, cute, and great at shouting 666. Carry me from now on?"
