Shadows Beneath the Crown
He said we should go now. He said it very softly.
The guard nodded. They walked out of the courtyard together. The courtyard was getting dark now. The guard and the other person were hardly visible because of the deepening dusk. The guard and the other person just disappeared from sight.
The corridor went on and on it was pretty dark except for the light from the torches. These torches made a hissing sound because of the air. Ben and the other person did not say a word to each other. The silence, between Ben and the other person was really uncomfortable. Ben walked slowly his face showed a little bit of a sad smile.. You could tell Ben was not really happy because his eyes looked sad. The corridor and the whole situation made Ben and the other person feel like something was bothering them something they did not talk about. Ben kept walking with steps the torches kept making that hissing sound.
