"That's a good question. I honestly don't know the answer. Maybe an all-reaching attack that I have never encountered before could somehow reach me, and have the ability to alter me to change in my unchanged state would work," Seth said lightly, his casual tone making Evelin's lips twitch in frustration, since after that attack landed once, wouldn't Seth then be able to defend against it from that point forward?
"Although this is mainly a defense skill at its core, I can use it for attack and other purposes too, but I seriously doubt I would ever need to push its attacking power to its absolute limit," Seth said before taking off into the air, since they were standing outside the mall now. The two elves quickly followed after him, keeping up with his pace with ease, as they flew through the open air above the sprawling city below.
"I don't like you," Evelin said softly, her voice filled with genuine irritation and disgust. She was honestly disgusted by just how overpowered he was compared to everyone else. How could the universe possibly allow someone so ridiculously overpowered to walk amongst them? How was this remotely fair to everyone else struggling to survive?
"I'm not that overpowered," Seth said softly in response, already knowing in his mind a few specific ways he could be defeated if the right conditions were met. For example, someone with an ability like Instant Death. Everything Seth had in his arsenal would fail utterly before that ability, and he would simply drop dead without any of his defenses helping him survive… of course, this is at Tier 1.
But ignoring that possibility for now, he looked ahead at the vast city walls up ahead in the distance, far grander and more imposing than when he had left this place months ago. Wasting no time at all, Seth flew directly through the protective barrier surrounding the entire city, shattering it like glass with ease and immediately alarming all of the powerful individuals stationed throughout the city.
"Is it wise to just burst in like that without any warning?" Evelin asked with a frown crossing her features, before sighing heavily in resignation, remembering just how overpowered he truly was. Why would he think twice about anything when nothing could stop him?
Suddenly, eight beams burst upward into the sky, but before these eight beams could even take the time to properly scan who had appeared in their airspace without permission, one of the beams burst towards Seth at incredible speed, moving faster than the others.
The beam forced Seth to pause in mid-air as Chu Yin appeared and happily spread her hands out wide to hug him tightly in greeting... but she froze completely in place when she saw Seth smile at her warmly, and after a long moment of shock washing over her, her eyes turned cold as ice.
"You dare!" She roared with fury, her eyes turning blood red with rage. She knew her man... and since when did Seth smile like that? Her entire form instantly began to transform into something monstrous and terrifying.
For six long months, she had held it together and waited patiently for his return, and after they finally reunited at last, she saw someone wearing his face instead of her husband.
"What?" Seth had a question mark practically floating on top of his head, genuinely confused about what was happening right now.
"To wear my husband's face, death is too good for you." She roared as huge bat-like wings exploded violently from her back, ripping through her flesh brutally and sending blood flying all over the place in crimson sprays. But Seth only maintained that same look of complete confusion on his face, not understanding at all how she had reached this wild conclusion.
"You smile… Seth doesn't smile." She said, making Seth's face go completely blank for a long moment. He didn't even know how to reply to that observation. When was the last time he had genuinely smiled before entering the elven galaxy? The sad answer was… well, never. He couldn't remember a single time.
Evelin and Allura, on the other hand, had question marks. After all, to them, Seth was an easy-going guy who could befriend just about anyone. His easy-going nature, the way he lights up the world around him, and how fun it was to be around him so long as you were not trying to sleep wth him… well, it made them question if the Seth they knew was the same one Chu Yin knew.
"So long as it's not human," Seth said with a casual shrug, making Chu Yin's eyes narrow with suspicion… before her face went entirely blank. She was utterly speechless. Of course, Seth would be happy after spending some time away from a galaxy overflowing with humans everywhere.
"Oh…" That was the only thing she could manage to say in response. Seth seemed to be deeply racist towards humans, but she didn't really care much about it at all. She shared the same general view as Seth when it came to humans; they were weak lifeforms whose whole weakness was… well, they were human. You can't blame an ant for being an ant, the same way you can't blame a human for being a human and possessing all their inherent flaws.
But they had split views on how they wanted to handle humans going forward. Chu Yin, being once human herself, saw humans still having their strong side to them despite everything. Sure, they were weak in many ways, but wasn't the fact that they were humans and deeply flawed what actually allowed them to thrive? Their hunger for knowledge, their hunger for adventure, and their tendency to do seemingly foolish things without thinking… what other race was so fundamentally flawed like that?
But Seth saw humans as tools to be used and then thrown away when they were no longer useful. The whole reason he had made the camp in the first place? To use humans for his purposes. He had been ruthless enough and fully prepared to torture humans who stepped out of line, for in Seth's eyes… well, he would never trust a human. He would never give such a flawed lifeform his truth, just for them to crush it and betray him.
Suddenly, Chu Yin's whole aura shifted dramatically as in a flash, she slammed into Seth's chest, hugging him tightly while rapidly reverting to her human form.
"You should have called me ahead of time. I would have teleported you here instantly." She said happily, her voice filled with relief. It felt like years had passed since they'd been together. Honestly, six months of being sexually frustrated had been absolute hell for her. Using pain to fight against it had helped somewhat, but she had to start a whole war just to vent her frustration.
"Yeah…" Seth said while scanning the other seven SSS-tier talents gathered around them, confused as to who was the traitor amongst them. In novels, stuff couldn't go this smoothly, right? There had to be a traitor somewhere. Seth's eyes landed on Mary specifically, and instantly, his eyes narrowed with suspicion. He had felt this woman's gaze on him many times over the months, leaving him feeling weird and uncomfortable.
"Who are they?" Chu Yin asked, taking a good, long smell of Seth just to ensure he wasn't sleeping with some other woman while he was gone, and seeing that he had not slept with anyone and only played with himself, she relaxed considerably. Although she was secretly happy smelling how he had been sexually frustrated just like her.
"Friends," Seth said lazily, which was good enough for Chu Yin for now without further explanation. With that settled, she immediately dragged Seth off, not caring about anything else but releasing six months' worth of built-up lust. Everyone watched the two leave together, speechless at all of this, and without anyone watching her closely, Mary carefully removed her eyepatch to see what could have made Chu Yin, who embodied her element so perfectly, be so… well, crazy and unstable.
What was hidden under the eyepatch? Countless stars, galaxies, and many more celestial bodies. It was as if her eyeball had been replaced with the entire universe itself. A beautiful sight that but Seth's eyes to shame.
After looking through her all-seeing eye, her mouth fell wide open in shock at what she was witnessing. She had heard that those with unique bloodlines were able to give others great pleasure, or less pleasure, depending on the specific bloodline they possessed. Chu Yin, being a dragon, and Seth being a Primal Human... well, the pleasure they gave each other was on another level entirely compared to normal humans, but she was honestly shocked seeing how not only their physical bodies were having sex, but it seemed like their very souls were joining together as well. Like two pieces becoming whole and complete.
The two completely gave themselves up to pure lust without any restraint or holding back; she had to look away quickly, unable to control herself as she felt herself growing wet from just witnessing the intensity of it. But that didn't stop her from going to her home and watching everything unfold from there in private…
