A single ultimate, boosted by a 24% healing efficiency from his signature five-stack Light Cone, instantly restored 1,798 HP.
It pulled the entire team's health back to the safe zone.
And it tagged Cocolia and the Ice of the Outer Universe with [Dreamscape].
"Come on, fight! Don't let the battle stop!"
"Gotta hand it to Leon for being frugal—eating grass, producing milk. His healing only depends on skill levels and healing bonuses."
Lao An used Bronya to advance Jing Yuan's turn and cleanse him, with EQ fully stacking Divine Monarch, ready to strike.
Though lacking his signature weapon, Jing Yuan, who received most of the account's resources, had solid damage.
A full-stack Divine Monarch strike took out 30% of Cocolia's HP.
"Come on, hit me with that ice spike!"
Cocolia acted, raising her hand to launch an ice spike at Leon, triggering two words:
[Immune]
[Reflected]
Leon was unscathed, while Cocolia froze herself, with another word appearing alongside a voice line:
[Immunity Broken]
"Like she's throwing a tantrum."
A bit of trivia: Cocolia also has built-in freeze immunity.
But that wasn't all.
When a target was afflicted with action delay or control debuffs, Leon immediately triggered his talent, pulling out dual guns to fire five bullets.
"Nature's Way."
By chance, the subsequent four bullet attacks all hit Cocolia, triggering five debuff indicators.
It was Leon's Trace: each hit randomly applied either a 10% ATK reduction or a 10% Effect RES reduction debuff.
"Your turn, Ice of the Outer Universe."
The next second, Tingyun and Jing Yuan both flashed [Immune] and [Reflected], bouncing the debuff back to the enemy.
Not only were they unable to act for a turn, but after thawing, their action bar was pushed back by 50%.
Leon's talent triggered again, activating his Light Cone's percentage energy regeneration, fully charging Tingyun's ultimate.
Tingyun used her ultimate to grant 555 energy and advance Leon's turn.
"Hmph, wanna hit me?"
In double-speed mode, Leon's cheeky, simplified voice line brought a chuckle.
Why charge him up? To counter the Outer Universe Ice's continuous control, of course.
If it wasn't broken, its charged attacks would keep coming.
After too much grinding, with enough damage, Lao An just wanted stability.
After three follow-up attacks, Leon met his Constellation 1 condition, making his skill cost no skill points.
"I am the storm that is approaching~~~"
Lao An, in high spirits, couldn't help but start singing.
Since Leon's skill was named "Approaching Storm," some hardcore fans mentally chanted it every time they used it.
It was practically etched into their DNA.
Sadly, Leon's skill voice line wasn't that, but rather:
"Let's make you fly!"
Five bullet attacks landed, four hitting the Ice of the Outer Universe.
With his talent stacked to five, another follow-up triggered, another "Nature's Way."
The bullet's path was the way; the gunfire was the law.
Thanks to Tingyun's 60 energy boost, his ultimate was ready again.
Applying debuffs to both enemies added two more talent stacks.
Combined with the remaining three stacks, another follow-up broke the Ice of the Outer Universe's toughness, exploiting its Wind weakness.
"So satisfying, too satisfying!"
"Know the value of a skill where each bullet independently chips toughness?"
"Let me break it down: Leon's skill chips 10 toughness per bullet, 50 total for a single target with five hits."
"His follow-up's five bullets chip 3.33 each, and his ultimate deals 20 to a group."
"A measly 100-toughness Ice of the Outer Universe? Hmph, that's it?"
"I played too safe. If I'd gambled a bit, Leon could've broken toughness just in time, and I'd have given the ultimate's energy to Jing Yuan."
Finally, Cocolia thawed and began charging her ultimate.
Lao An glanced at Leon's HP, feeling a twinge of fear.
Purple relics meant low defense; full HP might still be the kill line…
Having fought Cocolia with Leon many times, this was the first time he felt uncertain.
Leon's current gear was truly a disservice to him.
"Ice-Cold Judgment!"
Cocolia unleashed her attack, dropping Leon's HP to the brink and leaving Tingyun in the red.
But no one died!
"Look at you, rushing again."
Hearing Leon's heavy-hit voice line and seeing his remaining HP, the chat exploded.
[Holy crap, he survived!]
[20 HP, clutch!]
[Apologize to minor HP substats now!]
[No apologies needed. More like the upper half team owes Leon a bow.]
The ultimate healed, the skill healed, and the team's HP was full again.
"Gotta say, thank goodness the account owner's a Leon stan and maxed all his skills, or else…"
Confirming Leon could barely survive Cocolia's damage at full HP, Lao An breathed a sigh of relief.
Cocolia was about to lose her toughness and could only use one more charged ultimate at most.
With 21 turns remaining, the battle ended without further surprises.
"Father!!!"
Lao An couldn't help shouting.
[Yo, Leon took MVP, the upper half was just freeloading!]
[For real, MVP indeed.]
[With the worst gear, keeping the team alive in the harshest conditions!]
[Honestly, thank goodness the owner's a true fan and activated all of Leon's minor HP and DEF Traces.]
[Yeah, miss one, and he'd be dead.]
"You're right, but that's just Leon."
"A base 1,305 HP, 551 DEF, with Traces granting 28% HP and 22.5% DEF."
"Control immunity and reflection, signature Light Cone with percentage energy regen, skills that reduce enemy ATK and attribute resistance."
"110 energy cost, high-frequency follow-ups with action advance, landing an ultimate every two turns in practice."
"When hitting debuffed enemies, the team gets 25% Break efficiency, and Constellations trigger follow-ups with a constant 8 SPD boost."
"And his healing only depends on skill levels and healing bonuses, with self-consistent skill synergy."
"As long as you don't one-shot him, he pulls his guns, and it's Nature's Way, babyyyyy!"
After gushing, Lao An saved the battle recording.
"After the stream, I'll edit and upload this video to show everyone Leon's limits."
"No exaggeration—he's leagues better than Bailu or Gepard!"
"His ultimate's Dreamscape effect is practically a bug."
"Unless you're up against enemies that control every turn or Svarog's type, I can't think of how to counter Leon."
"If I had to nitpick, maybe it's that his burst healing is fixed and can't be boosted by relic substats."
"His signature gives 24% healing bonus, healing set plus healing chest gives 44.5%, totaling 68.5%."
"Level 12 ultimate heals 1,450, level 12 skill heals 550, resulting in final healing of 2,443 and 927 per unit, respectively."
"That's Leon's healing cap, unless better healing bonus gear comes out."
"For a four-star, that healing's solid, but if a pure HP-scaling tank DPS comes out, he might struggle to keep up."
"But no matter what, you have to build this guy."
