Sari was the first to break contact. She didn't know what would happen if she kept staring at him.
But the atmosphere felt right for an apology. She wanted to clear up the misunderstanding between them.
"I'm sorry, Tony!" Sari suddenly said. She stood up with the coffee in her hand. "I admit it. In the beginning, I did try to get closer to you because I knew I could benefit from it. I even advised June to do the same thing, but she is not as morally corrupted as I am. Of course, she refused, and warned me against it, but I still did what I wanted, and got closer to you."
Tony leaned against the table and asked. "Sari, have you ever been sincere with me?"
"Yes! That night I proposed we enter into a three-months relationship, I was half sincere. I genuinely liked you, but because I had an ulterior motive, I didn't want to get in too deep. As the three months got closer, I was worried. I really didn't want to hurt you Tony."
