Chapter 33 - Chapter 33: Change of Plan, Fuck Up Beatrice as Much as Possible

Arius Satellite School. It was a school branching off from the Trinity General School.

History of the past revealed that the higher ups of the Trinity General School back in the day had signed a wager of 'Peace'.

But due to circumstances, the Arius Satellite School wasn't able to take part in the treaty.

The Justina Saint Council exempted them, leading to their disappearance in public appearance and slowly, their name corroded in time. Forgotten.

Prior to Blue Archive, 10 years before Sensei arrived, a civil war occurred inside the Arius Autonomous District.

This led to the students inside the district to be divided in two, only stopped by Beatrice who used this war as an opportunity to take control of the entire district.

Beatrice became the President of the Arius District.

Making this Autonomous District her base of operation to breed hatred amongst the Arius Students.

But due to Sensei's appearance, all the incidents that could've gone from bad to worse... were fixed.

Simply put, as long as enough time passes, the problem itself would be rooted out by the people of the future.

Truly, the greatest medicine is time.

But that's the original timeline.

What if this was the Red timeline?

Then, it's over.

There's no such thing as a second chance, destruction is almost guaranteed.

And Beatrice was one of the main reasons for such destruction.

Without Sensei, an adult who was purely on the side of the students, the students could never stand a chance against an adult.

Especially not someone who was part of Gematria.

If you were to ask anyone who had ever played Blue Archive before about who their least favorite character was, the answer would most probably vary.

Some might just name a random student because they don't like the design, some might name another student because their clothes were a bit too... exposed, some might not even name anyone at all because they love every student equally.

But Kasuka was also a Blue Archive player. Even if it had been a while since she touched the game, she had once experienced what it was like to be a 'Sensei'.

And she could confidently say that her least favorite character... was Beatrice.

Yes, it wasn't surprising.

An antagonist who used children against their own will through torture, abuse, and brainwashing. Who in the world could love something like that?

Perhaps it was because she's still quite early in the timeline, Arius Squad still wasn't drowning deep inside Hatred.

That's the one fortunate thing that happened in this 'Simulation' of hers.

This place feels real.

Maybe the only lifeline that led to her not believing anything happening in this place to be reality was the fact that she has a system with her, one that could help her whenever and wherever.

What if she were to lose access to the system one day?

She never thought too deeply about it before. After all, this is simply a 'Simulation'.

She could milk Arius Squad dry for everything they are worth, it wouldn't affect the original world.

Which also meant that everything she did to Beatrice wouldn't reflect back in the original world.

Due to that, there's no benefit to provoking such a monster in the first place.

...But somehow, her fist just itches to no end just thinking about that woman achieving her goal without getting punched in the face once.

Kasuka opened her eyes, and what greeted her wasn't the darkness of the lab. Instead, a stretched horizon of reflecting water went over her horizon.

Clouds coupled at the sky, the blue atmosphere seeping through the spaces in the clouds.

Kasuka looked at her arms, surprised to see it not covered in her brand new leather jacket.

Instead, she seemed to be naked.

Of course, the sight of the reflection on the ground didn't bother her one bit. After all, she's not someone who seeks pleasure in a body that is very much so... immature, moreover, it was her own body.

Even then, she had never truly seen anything as an object of attraction.

Perhaps, only a face contorted in guilt could cause her heart to beat faster.

One that was caused by her own action, orchestrated to make it seem like it wasn't her fault.

Kasuka took a step forward, not certain of this place's origin.

Every single step, every single length she went to, a sound of glass being stepped on echoed in her ears.

But her feet didn't feel the hard ground.

Instead, it was almost as if she was standing on a layer of water.

Is this what it feels like to really walk on water?

It was a bit disorienting, but not something she can't get used to.

After a while of walking, she realized that moving doesn't change anything. So, she tried to call upon her system.

Fortunately, it responded.

[Host's body is currently in a suspended state. Due to that, the system has taken preventive measures to make sure the body wouldn't be destroyed without the Host's permission.]

What a good system you are.

Well, that's one problem out of the way.

Kasuka decided to ask about how much time had passed since she passed out.

In response, the system showed another panel,

[12 Hours 32 Minutes and 12 Seconds.]

"..."

Kasuka's eyes were glued onto the screen that kept on changing every second.

It wasn't until the minutes changed to 33 did she finally regain her senses. It was then that she realized her feelings.

"Beatrice."

A low tone, one that she herself wasn't familiar with.

"Change of plan." Her voice was sharp, proving her determination. "I'm going to make you regret ever pointing your interested gaze my way."

Beatrice might've helped her out a ton in terms of milking Arius Squad but... she's gone too far.

"How dare you try to end my perfect run so quickly!"

She had worked so hard on this persona, there's no way such an anticlimactic ending would suffice!

What? She's about to become a sacrifice on the cross in approximately 36 hours?

Fine. I'll find a way to fuck you up within 12!

Arius Squad, you've played your role in providing me points.

Although it was a shame that she couldn't milk them for more points, she figured that she had done enough trauma dumping on them to count as a success.

Besides, this isn't her final simulation.

She could still do more.

Plus... by fucking up Beatrice's future, she could also look at the faces of her friends, which had contorted in despair by her very action!

Beatrice!

I'll kill two birds with one stone, and you shall be the first wing I shoot!
