Chapter 109 - Chapter 109: Can be held with one hand: As long as you can hold it with one hand, it’s fine!

Smelling the aroma of the strawberries, even Focalors couldn't resist!

It smells so good, really sweet. I want to eat it, I want to drink it.

Focalors' desire ultimately triumphed over her reason. She took the strawberry juice Alex offered and picked up a strawberry.

She began to eat and drink.

She had been in the Oratrice Mecanique d'Analyse Cardinale for nearly five hundred years. Focalors had never eaten or drunk anything, though she didn't need to.

But Alex's actions stirred a hint of greed in her.

She devoured a large strawberry in two bites and drank more than half the cup in a few gulps.

The more Focalors ate, the more satisfied she became, and the drinking was very comfortable. She had completely abandoned her ladylike image!

After finishing the large cup of strawberry juice, Focalors proceeded to eat several more strawberries.

Her stomach didn't really feel anything; she could have eaten the entire pile of strawberries in front of her.

But if she did that, it would be too unladylike, and Alex might misunderstand her as a girl with a huge appetite.

"Are you done?" Alex asked, seeing Focalors looking at him with wide eyes.

Focalors didn't speak. She wiped the corner of her mouth and nodded reluctantly.

"Keep pulling! Pull all of them!" Alex said, extending the hand holding his phone towards Focalors' chest.

"Okay!" Focalors nodded in response and directly tapped for another ten-pull.

Before Alex could even look at the screen, Focalors said to him, "Oh, I don't need to tap skip for this, right?"

"Huh?" Alex was completely bewildered, only seeing the golden light from the phone illuminate his face.

This, this isn't right... Is it really that easy to get a gold?

Alex watched, disbelieving, as Focalors tapped each one. He ignored the three-star items, deciding to see what he got after all the pulls were done.

Five-star item: Omnipotent Star of Fate * 1

Alright, finally, the previously hinted item appeared: the Omnipotent Star of Fate, which can strengthen other people's constellations!

Then a four-star skill card: Link Skill: Surging Water (Bound)

Another extra skill related to water. Let's see... When other characters in the team break an enemy's shield. Within three seconds, you can choose whether to release this skill.

If chosen, you instantly teleport above the enemy whose shield was broken, then quickly land. At the same time, a circle of surging water forms around you, specifically targeting the shielded enemy. The surging water erupts from beneath the enemy, dissipates upon hitting, and forcibly keeps the enemy airborne for five seconds.

Ah! It says Link Skill, but isn't this just a QTE!!! But what it's called seems the same; Alex himself still prefers to say QTE.

Alex's eyes widened. He could play QTE in allogene too!

And this QTE skill is really good. It's just that the description seems to not allow him to break shields. Looking at this description, can his summoned creatures trigger the QTE if they break a shield?

He'll have to test this after experiencing combat.

Just as Alex thought it was over.

"Ding ding ding ding ding~" Five more sounds came from the phone.

"Ah!!!" Alex directly shouted out loud!

Did it just open?

How come five-star items seem so easy to get when pulling cards? He had pulled quite a lot here before, but hadn't seen a single one?

Alex secretly rejoiced, thankfully the phone could grant permissions to others. If he had pulled, he probably wouldn't have a single five-star gold by now.

What will he get this time? Alex looked at the icon with a question in his heart.

"Ah, sh*t!..." Alex was speechless. Why did it give him this!

Five-star weapon: skyward harp.

Alex kept sighing: "Oh dear... even an Amos' Bow of Agony would be, sigh, fine too."

The weapon that appeared was actually a common Skyward series item from the standard banner, not an UP weapon in allogene.

It was such a pity. But since it was given for free within twenty pulls, it was still acceptable.

Moreover, for a beginner, skyward harp is already a very good weapon.

The weapon's base ATK is very high, it adds a bit of both Crit Rate and Crit DMG, and it has a weapon skill with a very short cooldown.

Such a short cooldown is also very suitable for triggering his heavy armor bunny puppet's linked attacks, allowing for faster, continuous small DMG.

If he could pull it to max refinement, it would be a very strong weapon.

Alex looked at the Level 1 skyward harp. Its ascend materials also seemed to be in Mondstadt.

Well, now he had another reason to go to Mondstadt.

But how would he attack, holding a Sword, splendor of tranquil waters, and a bow, skyward harp?

Alex was troubled. Now he had two five-star weapons in front of him.

Perhaps? He could kick with the bow?

Alex exited the gacha interface. The second gold in this ten-pull happened to be the tenth pull.

Looking at the equipment, Alex tried holding a Sword in his left hand and a bow in his right.

His stats on the equipment page actually reflected both weapons!

It seemed he was too naive at first! He thought two-handed weapons could only be used with two hands.

Now that he knew, Alex tried replacing the skyward harp with the 'Idle Fish Claymore'.

Then he pulled out the 'Training Claymore' he obtained from a treasure chest.

He tried holding one claymore in each hand.

"So heavy!" As soon as he held both claymores at once, Alex felt his hands become incredibly heavy, and the tips of both greatswords instantly hit the ground.

Alex's biceps bulged as he exerted all his strength. He barely managed to lift both greatswords horizontally, only holding them for exactly two and a half seconds before he quickly put them away.

Although he wasn't holding two greatswords, Alex calculated that they would still apply if placed in the equipment slots. And the left and right hand slots were independent.

Now he understood the power and terror of dual-wielding weapon skills.

When he said 'single-hand wieldable', it meant as long as you could hold it with one hand!

He had been mistaken before!

Oh, snap! This means his weapon choices have become completely diversified. In the end, it just depends on what he finds easiest to use.

Thinking this, Alex switched his equipment back to splendor of tranquil waters and harbinger of dawn.

The skyward harp could wait for now. If he fought with a Sword and a bow, would he really use the bow to choke enemies?

He probably needed to pull the strings of the skyward harp to fire energy arrows.

However, while it was great that he could benefit from the ATK bonuses of two weapons, what was the difference if he didn't take them out of his inventory to use them?

After all, while five-star weapons have different types, the ATK, base ATK, and Crit stats they add are all pretty similar.

It was merely the added option of choosing different weapon skills.

Single-hand wieldable... Hmm, his current physical strength was still quite weak; he couldn't easily swing a two-handed greatsword with one hand.

He needed to train his arm strength in the future, or just be direct and give himself a strength boost!

That way, no matter what weapon, even a super-heavy hundred-ton iron hammer, he could still wield it with one hand and swing it with ease!
