At this moment, Ryōsuke looked at the worried Konan.
This pitiful woman had to be saved.
In this tragic shinobi world, it would be a true shame for a woman like Konan to die without ever truly experiencing what it meant to be a woman.
Perhaps her heart had long been sealed away due to the deaths of her comrades. He would have to force his way in to untie the knots in her heart.
With Ryōsuke's current overwhelming strength, he had no intention of slowly developing a relationship. He could simply take what he wanted.
He walked up to Konan, wrapped his arms directly around her waist, and gently lowered her to the ground. He then straddled her thighs, his hands firmly grasping her breasts.
Instantly, he felt an immense softness in his palms.
Ryōsuke immediately felt a surge of physical and mental pleasure, a smile spreading across his face.
"Konan, I didn't expect the body hidden beneath your cloak to be so well-endowed."
Konan's gaze was somewhat vacant.
She was astonished inwardly. *'What is going on?'*
*'Wasn't this guy going to kill me?'*
*'Yet now he's brazenly fondling me there.'*
A profound sense of shame instantly washed over her.
*'Could he be planning to do that kind of thing to me?'* Filled with intense anger, she struggled and spoke up.
"You despicable, shameless bastard, stop it."
She felt incredibly uncomfortable; it was her first time being so wantonly toyed with.
Hearing this, Ryōsuke stopped his hand movements. He didn't plan on forcing himself on her today.
"Today, I don't just want your body. I want your heart, too."
Konan froze, then glared at the man before her with even greater fury.
"Do you think getting my body means you'll get my heart? You're completely delusional."
Ryōsuke wasn't angry. Instead, he spoke slowly.
"Don't worry. I will absolutely make you willingly surrender both your body and mind to me."
Konan was so furious she was left speechless. *'What a delusional maniac.'*
*'Does he think I'm some lovestruck schoolgirl who throws herself at the first handsome guy she sees?'*
Ryōsuke looked at Konan and said,
"In this shinobi world, information is of the utmost importance."
"How about this? I'll tell you some extremely vital information in exchange for your body and your heart."
"What do you think?"
Konan was slightly taken aback.
Doubt crept into her mind.
*'What kind of important information could this guy possibly have that would make me willingly offer up my body and soul?'*
*'Impossible. Absolutely impossible.'*
"Stop talking big. There's no such information in existence."
Ryōsuke, however, smiled and said,
"Since you don't believe me, I'll just tell you."
"Of course, this condition is established unilaterally. I won't allow you to back out."
Konan felt a surge of anger. *'This bastard is so forceful. I haven't even agreed, yet he just decides it's a done deal.'*
Ryōsuke continued,
"I know the Akatsuki's goal is to collect the Tailed Beasts, then threaten the entire shinobi world so that no ninja village dares to start a war, all to achieve peace."
"But in reality, you've all been deceived by that man calling himself Uchiha Madara."
"His only purpose in approaching you was to use the Akatsuki as free labor to gather the Tailed Beasts for him."
Konan's expression changed drastically.
This guy actually knew the Akatsuki's true objective—something only the core members were privy to.
*'Is there a traitor among us?'*
*'Or did this guy somehow dig up intel on the Akatsuki?'*
But what did it matter? She said with a cold face,
"Information like that is completely irrelevant to me. That Orange-Masked Man is using us, but we are using him as well."
"I've been keeping my guard up against him too."
Hearing the word "guard," Ryōsuke naturally agreed in his heart.
Konan indeed hadn't easily trusted Obito, who was impersonating Uchiha Madara.
The fact that she later prepared six hundred billion paper bombs to kill Obito proved that Konan wasn't lying.
She was quite a vigilant woman.
"Even if you keep your guard up, it will be useless in the end."
"That guy harbored malicious intentions from the moment he joined the Akatsuki."
"You should still remember when you were captured by Danzō and Hanzo, right?"
"Only Yahiko and Nagato appeared on the battlefield, while the rest of your comrades never showed up. Do you know why?"
Konan thought of her former comrades, Kyūsuke and Daibutsu.
They were all members of the original Akatsuki.
But they had all disappeared later on. She assumed they had been ambushed and killed by those two bastards, Danzō and Hanzo, and that even their corpses had been taken away.
"Since you even know about them, you probably got your information from Danzō. You should know who killed them."
"Why ask when you already know the answer?"
Thinking of this made Konan a bit angry.
If Danzō and Hanzo hadn't joined forces, their Akatsuki wouldn't have been so easily crushed, and Yahiko wouldn't have committed suicide to save her.
Ryōsuke, however, chuckled.
"Although that old schemer Danzō is the dark shadow of the shinobi world..."
"...he wasn't the one responsible for that incident. It was the man in your organization who calls himself Uchiha Madara."
Hearing this, Konan's pupils widened in shock.
Her comrades were actually killed by that orange-masked man.
An entirely unexpected murderer.
She looked at the man before her in shock.
"Do you have any proof?"
Ryōsuke smiled and said,
"If you want proof, it's better if you see it for yourself."
He then cast a Rinnegan genjutsu on Konan.
All he had to do was replay the scenes he had seen in her mind.
Konan's vision suddenly went black. When she opened her eyes again, she had arrived in an illusionary world.
It was raining from the sky.
There were familiar forests and grassy plains. That's right, this was the Land of Rain.
Seeing this scenery made her feel a bit melancholic.
Suddenly, dozens of people in ninja attire prepared to cross the woods. Leading them was a bald, muscular man—her former comrade, Daibutsu.
Another guy, wearing a hat with a Rain Village headband, glasses, and green markings on both cheeks, was Kyūsuke.
Seeing her former companions, Konan felt a surge of emotion.
Seeing how they were rushing, they must have been on their way to reinforce Yahiko and Nagato, yet they had never appeared on the main battlefield.
What exactly had happened?
Suddenly, a person appeared out of thin air in the space ahead of them, and another person emerged from the ground.
The person wearing a swirl mask was the very guy who called himself Uchiha Madara, only he was wearing an orange mask at the time.
The other was a person with a black-and-white face—the fusion of Black Zetsu and White Zetsu.
A bad feeling instantly welled up in her heart.
*'Could what that man said be true? Are these two the real culprits who wiped out my comrades?'*
Next, Konan watched as her comrades began to battle those two bastards.
Even fighting with all their might, her comrades were no match for them.
The Water Prison Jutsu was Daibutsu's specialty, along with Kyūsuke's Cement Jutsu.
They tried to use a combined attack to take the swirl-masked man down with them, but even then, they failed to mutually destroy the man calling himself Uchiha Madara.
This swirl-masked man wanted Nagato to awaken the true Rinnegan. What did that mean?
Konan didn't understand.
But Nagato's use of the Rinnegan to summon the Gedo Statue after Yahiko's death, which severely damaged his body, and Yahiko's death itself—all of it was actually caused by these two guys blocking their reinforcements.
Konan was instantly filled with immense heartache and a burning fire of rage.
She, Nagato, and Yahiko had actually been completely played for fools by this swirl-masked man.
They had fallen right into his trap.
The vision ended there.
