Hearing Tsunade's words, Ryōsuke decided to reconsider.
He had only thought about granting his child more power, but the risk of damaging fragile chakra meridians was indeed a serious concern.
"Alright, I'll modify the seal so our child won't be able to draw upon the Tailed Beast's power just yet."
He then turned his attention to the Four-Tails inside the sealing vessel.
"Accept the seal for now. Once my son grows up in a few years, I will completely undo your restraints."
The Four-Tails felt a bit helpless but had no choice but to comply.
Afterward, Ryōsuke sealed the Four-Tails into his unborn son.
Tsunade immediately began a careful examination to check for any hidden dangers.
Although she wasn't an expert in sealing jutsu, she understood the fundamental principles.
After observing it closely for quite a while, she concluded that the seal Ryōsuke had placed on their son was exceptionally meticulous, stable, and absolutely flawless.
With that, her heart was finally at ease.
This meant her child would possess an unparalleled reserve of Tailed Beast chakra right from birth.
He was destined to become a powerhouse in the future.
Following this, Ryōsuke had the Anbu escort Haku back to the Uchiha compound.
Meanwhile, he accompanied Tsunade back to the Senju compound.
Looking at Tsunade, Ryōsuke spoke up.
"Now that the Leaf Village has regained its vitality, it's time to initiate reforms. We must walk the path of both technology and ninjutsu, vastly elevating our technological advancements."
Tsunade was astonished.
"Is this part of your plan to unify the shinobi world?"
Ryōsuke smiled.
"Yes. Relying solely on martial prowess to conquer the shinobi world is far too difficult. If we force it, it won't just be a matter of a few casualties."
"We must cultivate scientific talent, vigorously develop technology, boost productivity, and raise the standard of living. Only then is true unification possible."
"Otherwise, even if we conquer the shinobi world, the resulting peace will remain unstable."
Tsunade stared at Ryōsuke.
Her heart trembled with profound shock.
*To think he had considered things this deeply...*
It seemed this man truly had the best interests of the shinobi world at heart.
Naturally, she agreed with him. Perhaps this approach would genuinely improve the lives of the common people in the Leaf Village.
"Alright, I will discuss your proposal with the three Consultant Elders. I'm sure they won't oppose you either."
And that was the truth.
Ryōsuke's words carried far more weight in the village than hers did as Hokage.
Ryōsuke had complete faith in Tsunade's administrative abilities.
With this, the Leaf Village's technology might just take a leap forward, perfectly complementing his grand scheme to bring the entire shinobi world under his control.
A few days later, Ryōsuke figured that after so many intimate sessions, Konan was likely pregnant by now.
It was time for him to set off for the Sand Village to collect the final Tailed Beast, and then head to the Rain Village to pluck out Nagato's eyes.
He activated his Rinnegan and began pinpointing the location of the Sand Village. Naturally, he couldn't sense it directly from this distance.
Instead, he adjusted the teleportation coordinates based on a map.
He opened a portal, revealing a vast desert on the other side.
Stepping straight through, he was immediately greeted by a gust of rolling sand against his face.
*So this is the Land of Wind?*
An endless expanse of sand stretched out before him. The living conditions here were undoubtedly harsh.
While the environment was barely suitable for survival, that wasn't the real reason the Sand Village would eventually invade the Land of Fire and the Leaf Village in the future.
The true cause stemmed from the aftermath of the Third Great Ninja War. When the Leaf Village emerged victorious and peace treaties were signed, the Wind Daimyō used the opportunity to force the Sand Village to downsize its military forces.
This led to a sharp decline in the Sand Village's military strength, accompanied by severe budget cuts, as the Daimyō began outsourcing most of their mission requests to the Leaf Village instead.
Driven by a desperate need to survive in times of peace, the Sand Village plotted to destroy the Leaf Village—a completely unprovoked disaster for Konoha.
Therefore, true unification was the only way to completely eradicate war.
The Sand Village he was heading to had to be that cluster of buildings in the distance.
It bore the distinct architectural style of the Sand Village.
He flew straight toward it.
He only stopped once he reached the outskirts of the village, taking a moment to sense the chakra signatures within.
The chakra of a Tailed Beast was incredibly easy to detect, especially when it belonged to someone like Gaara, who frequently leaked its power.
Or rather, the boy's mental state was simply too unstable.
Of course, this was entirely the fault of his cruel father, the Fourth Kazekage, who constantly provoked his own son as if he were afraid the boy wouldn't explode.
It didn't take long for Ryōsuke to pinpoint Gaara's location.
Just as he expected, Tailed Beast chakra was seeping out of the boy's body.
Locking onto the coordinates, he opened another portal.
Then, he stepped through.
In a secluded corner of the Sand Village, Gaara was sitting quietly by himself.
Suddenly, a glowing doorway appeared in the distance, instantly putting him on high alert.
*Are the villagers planning to attack me again?*
A White-Masked Man in Black stepped out from the portal.
Gaara's expression instantly twisted into a vicious scowl.
He prepared to launch an attack at a moment's notice, ready to crush the intruder into paste.
"Who are you?"
Ryōsuke observed Gaara, noting the massive gourd on his back and the kanji for 'love' etched onto his forehead.
At this point in time, Gaara had likely already morphed into a psychologically twisted monster.
The mother who loved him most had died giving birth to him, and even his uncle, Yashamaru, had died by his hands.
Of course, Yashamaru had been sent by Gaara's own father to assassinate him, ultimately dying in a suicide bombing.
Ryōsuke figured Gaara was already a decent Jinchūriki, especially with his innate sand manipulation abilities. There was no need to go through the trouble of selecting a new vessel for the Tailed Beast.
That would be far too troublesome.
Seeing that the intruder didn't answer, the rage in Gaara's heart burned even hotter, and his face grew even more feral.
He waved his hand.
"Despicable wretch. Sand, bury him."
A massive wave of sand immediately surged out from the giant gourd on his back.
It rushed toward Ryōsuke at breakneck speed, enveloping him in an instant.
However, Ryōsuke simply swung his arm with a burst of force, blowing away all the encroaching sand.
The massive volume of sand was blown right back into Gaara's face.
Gaara panicked.
He was forced to cover his eyes with his hands.
*How is this possible?* His ability had actually failed. He tried to command the sand, but it completely refused to respond to his control.
After a moment, he was finally able to open his eyes, staring at the man before him with a hint of fear.
Looking at the Gaara in front of him, Ryōsuke didn't feel like wasting his breath.
A kid like this wouldn't listen to reason without a heavy dose of harsh reality.
"Rinnegan Genjutsu."
An invisible wave instantly washed over Gaara.
Gaara's vision went black. When he opened his eyes again, he found himself in an entirely different place.
This place... it was actually the Kazekage's office.
Sitting in the main seat was his father, the Fourth Kazekage.
A sliver of fear immediately crept into his heart.
"Father."
But the Fourth Kazekage completely ignored him.
Realization dawned on him. *Is this a genjutsu?*
Suddenly, the door opened, and his uncle Yashamaru walked in.
He dropped to one knee.
"Lord Kazekage, what are your orders?"
The Fourth Kazekage looked at Yashamaru and spoke with a cold, ruthless expression.
"I want you to assassinate Gaara."
