Chapter 1026 - 1026 Death Flame Sorcerer

When Meer finished listening to Luo Shu's explanation, she couldn't help but pinch the soft flesh at his waist:

"You call Class reinforcement a minor matter?"

"This constitutes serious professional negligence in intelligence work!"

"Punishment! You absolutely must be punished!"

"Tonight you'll wait obediently in your room for me. Don't you dare step outside without my permission."

Luo Shu deliberately relaxed his muscles to make the pinching less strenuous for Meer, sighing helplessly as he replied:

"Yes, yes, tonight I'll definitely wait obediently for you."

"Still..." Luo Shu glanced at the sky-blue flames Meer was using to enhance her grip strength, showing some surprise. "You're quite skilled with those Dying Will Flames, Meer. The sedation effect is working remarkably well."

Knowing Luo Shu's physique far surpassed her own, Meer had utilised the sedative properties of Rain Dying Will Flames to forcibly relax Luo Shu's muscles.

Though the effect was slight, it genuinely made his body more pliant for a moment.

Of course, Meer's Rain Flames weren't as effective as Luo Shu's conscious relaxation. But considering Dying Will Flames had only been widely known for less than two months, this level of proficiency was impressive.

Luo Shu strongly suspected Meer had devoted all her spare time to training with Dying Will Flames.

"Good effect, you say?"

Meer casually raised her hand, letting the sky-blue Rain Flames envelop her entire palm:

"This level probably can't compare to your Mist Flame applications, though, right?"

"That's different."

Luo Shu shook his head before admitting frankly:

"My proficiency with Mist Flames comes from cheating methods."

"In terms of pure Dying Will Flame manipulation, I'm actually inferior to you."

As an auxiliary-type Dying Will Flame, Mist Flames specialised in constructing realistic illusions - making them illusion-based flames.

The standard process involved first creating illusions, then ensnaring opponents with them.

But Luo Shu reversed this through his Calamity abilities - first recording the ensnared state, bestowing it upon enemies, then constructing the illusion afterwards.

Essentially, his Calamity Class power inverted the illusion process - enemies got affected first, then he belatedly crafted the hallucination.

He could even skip constructing it entirely, since the illusion's purpose was to affect targets. Once they were affected, whether he used it became irrelevant.

This explained why few could unravel Luo Shu's Mist Flame illusions.

However, at the Demigod level, Mist Flame abilities were only useful against weaker opponents.

Against Demigods, any ability below the conceptual level couldn't even deceive their vision.

And for overwhelming weaker foes, methods like Concept Entanglement were far more convenient than Mist Flames.

Truthfully, Dying Will Flames had become obsolete in Luo Shu's arsenal.

"Inferior to me?" Meer tilted her head thoughtfully. "Though it feels like you're just humouring me, I must admit it's working - I'm genuinely pleased now."

With a playful twist of her wrist, Meer made the Dying Will Flames morph fluidly.

The sky-blue flames first took Luo Shu's current form, then shifted into Lacus's likeness, before finally becoming Meer herself.

Witnessing such precise flame control, Luo Shu felt surprised, then glanced at Lacus suspiciously - wondering if she'd been secretly training too.

At that moment, he noticed Lacus staring intently at him.

Meeting her gaze, Luo Shu asked in bemusement:

"What? Why the sudden staring?"

Lacus pressed her lips together slightly before smiling. "Dying Will Flames combined with the Sorcerer Class could potentially strengthen into quite an impressive Class."

Luo Shu gave her a startled look before laughing:

"So you were secretly using the deduction function just now?"

The Class simulation function of the Dream Simulation Chamber was open to all Familia members. As long as she had the idea, Lacus could easily add the template and conduct the simulation herself.

Of course, such a function would inevitably consume points.

However, Luo Shu had already prepaid part of the points for the Dying Will Flames. As long as Lacus didn't delve too deep, she wouldn't need to spend her limited points.

Meanwhile, upon hearing their conversation, Meer widened her eyes in surprise:

"What! The Dying Will Flames can actually become a Class, too?"

"Is that even possible?"

"Why wouldn't it be?" Luo Shu chuckled, pinching Meer's soft cheek. "Classes are essentially just combinations of multiple abilities. Since they're combinations, what's stopping us from having one centred around Dying Will Flames?"

"I see..."

Meer nodded in sudden understanding, allowing Luo Shu to tease her while wearing a sly expression:

"So this is why you secretly used points to simulate Classes, Luo Shu?"

"Quick, explain yourself. Did you secretly dip into our point reserves?"

Luo Shu's expression stiffened momentarily before he admitted awkwardly:

"I knew I couldn't hide it from you two..."

With that, he picked up his coffee, took a sip, and explained:

"Right before the meeting, I conducted several experimental enhancements combining the Sorcerer Class with some abilities, just for testing purposes."

"The result was a High Tier Class with multiple development paths."

Multiple development paths referred to the numerous concepts a Demigod Rank could master and elevate.

For instance, a Demigod Rank Child of Apocalypse with the Calamity Class Template could master powerful concepts like Calamity, Fate, and Causality at the Demigod stage.

Similarly, a Spirit Sorcerer could master concepts like Summoning, Elements, and Mimicry.

"The concepts this Class can master are Harmony, Decomposition, Sedation, Enhancement, Proliferation, Vitality, Construction, along with Fire and the hidden concept of Death."

"These correspond to the seven attributes of Dying Will Flames elevated into seven concepts. Beyond these, there's also the foundational Fire Concept and the essential Death Concept of the Dying Will."

"In other words, a Demigod of this Class would typically master two concepts upon reaching Demigod Rank, with up to eight possible development paths."

"This is considered quite impressive among High Tier Classes."

"In a way, this represents a deep exploration of the Sorcerer Class within the fire domain, hence its classification as High Tier."

"And this Class happens to be perfect for specialised upgrades for all our organisation members who've already mastered Dying Will Flames."

At this point, Luo Shu couldn't help but glance at Meer, recalling her recent display of flame control, and smiled:

"Judging by Meer's control over Dying Will Flames just now, I think you'll adapt to this High Tier Class very quickly."

Hearing this, Meer looked down at her Rain Flame and blinked in surprise:

"I actually thought all these months of Dying Will Flame training might have been wasted..."

After learning about Classes, Meer had indeed wondered whether to continue practising Dying Will Flames. But in the end, lacking a suitable Class and needing self-defence as an intelligence operative, she'd persisted with her training.

However, despite her continuous training, Meer couldn't help but feel that her cultivation efforts might be yielding half the results with twice the work.

But now, it seemed her efforts hadn't been in vain.

"If I made you cry, wouldn't I have to comfort you for ages?"

Luo Shu teased before turning to Meer:

"Want to give it a try? This Class I've temporarily named Death Flame Sorcerer."

Hearing this, Meer revealed a sweet smile:

"With pleasure!"
