Now everyone was there solely for the quality of the product.

A full truck of drinks—though the capacity of this truck wasn't very large, it was still enough for thousands of bottles—was sold out before 7 p.m.

Even Lin Junyi himself was a little bit unconvinced.

Lin Wanqing, though exhausted, showed immense excitement on her beautiful face.

It was the most frenzied and exciting sales scene Lin Junyi had ever witnessed.

As the sky gradually darkened, the streets became increasingly crowded. Although many spectators still gathered around but hadn't bought anything, the two could only apologize and ask them to wait until the product was officially released before purchasing it at major supermarkets. Many customers expressed their regret.

Lin Wanqing took out her silk scarf and carefully wiped the sweat off Lin Junyi's face. With a smile as beautiful as a flower, she said, "Brother, we must have sold a lot today. You wait here for a while. I need to go to the company to settle the bill. Then we can go out for dinner together!"

"Okay, sister, you can go now."

After his sister left, Lin Junyi stood alone in the square, feeling the cool night breeze. Although he was very tired today, very tired, even more tired than he had ever been in his life, and even until now, neither of them had eaten lunch, Lin Junyi's stomach was full, filled with a rich happiness, warm and sweet!

About ten minutes later, Lin Wanqing returned: "Brother, guess how much money we made today?"

Lin Junyi looked at his sister's excited expression and felt very happy. He smiled and said, "How much? Five hundred Hong Kong dollars?"

Lin Wanqing shook her head, smiled softly, and said, "I knew you wouldn't guess. It's two thousand!"

  Lin Junyi almost fainted.

You see, Lin Wanqing's monthly salary as a kindergarten teacher was only HK$1,000. He never imagined that he and his sister would earn double that amount in just one day's work!

Lin Wanqing paused, then broke another piece of good news: "The company's boss wanted me to be their sales manager, but I was worried about the instability of the job, and I had to take care of you, so I declined. Later, he offered me a sales representative position, with only weekends off, and a base salary of HK$2,000 a month, so I accepted." Of course, Lin Junyi knew: no matter how wonderful things

are in this world, they don't just come to you for no reason. Few people in this world are born lucky, just as few are born rich. Their luck is often earned through hard work and sweat. How many people actually see their efforts?

People shouldn't complain too much. Gains and losses are about gaining and losing. Sometimes, losing isn't necessarily a loss, because with the loss, you also gain something you couldn't have when you were gaining.

Just like Lin Wanqing, she could be a manager today, but she resolutely decided to give up this position to take care of herself. She became a sales representative, but how many people can see her efforts today?

Yes, maybe you, as smart as you, would say that Lin Wanqing is such a good salesperson because of her good looks.

However, have you forgotten that they are a pair of siblings without parents?

However, under such circumstances, Lin Wanqing was still full of beautiful expectations for life. At the age of eighteen, she resolutely left the enviable campus and beloved classmates to take care of her younger brother. However, she never complained about the death of her parents, nor did she ever complain about Lin Junyi's lack of ambition.

"With a sister like this, what else could I ask for!" Lin Junyi thought.

Lin Wanqing wiped the sweat from her face and said with a smile, "Brother, let's go eat now."

"Sister, let's go home and eat! I only like your cooking!"

Lin Junyi suddenly shook his head and said.

"Well, okay! I don't like eating out anyway!"

The two crossed the road hand in hand and were about to turn when a luxury car rushed in front of them and suddenly stopped.

Lin Junyi recognized the car's brand: the Ferrari Enzo! With its distinctive styling and aerodynamics borrowed directly from Formula One cars, it disregarded aesthetics and was meticulously crafted for a single purpose: speed! Ferrari strives to be the epitome of transcendence, both on the curves and the straights.

The car door opened, and a young man, approximately 25 years old, with gleaming hair and handsome features, stepped out. Standing over 1.8 meters tall, he looked exceptionally elegant. He wore a black suit and gold-rimmed glasses, a classic look of a returnee elite, a thoroughly Westernized look with a perfectly Chinese face.

"Wanqing, it's you! I didn't expect to see you here! How wonderful!"

He walked right up to Lin Wanqing, exclaiming with excitement, extending his hand towards her.

"Huh? Li Feng! Why are you here?"

Lin Wanqing stared at the young man in surprise, but remained expressionless as she dodged his outstretched hand.

Li Feng's face betrayed no displeasure at Lin Wanqing's actions. He continued in his gentle voice, "I received my master's degree in June of this year and had intended to pursue a doctorate, but my father, seriously ill, urgently summoned me back to take over the family business. So, I had to return to Hong Kong yesterday. I didn't expect to see you here today! It seems we're truly destined to meet!"

"By the way, Wanqing, why did you suddenly drop out of school two years ago? Is this your brother? He's so cute!"

Li Feng saw Lin Wanqing's face flicker with a fleeting smile before becoming completely calm, serene and elegant, as if unconcerned with anything. He felt disappointed that despite his enthusiastic attitude, she was completely unimpressed.

However, when he noticed Lin Junyi beside Lin Wanqing, his heart stirred, thinking he had found a new opportunity.

"This is my brother. He came back because of something at home." Lin Wanqing held Lin Junyi's hand tightly and nodded to Li Feng, but she didn't elaborate on Lin Junyi's plans.

Lin Junyi stood aside and looked at this young man who seemed to have a normal admiration for Lin Wanqing.

Although he had been gentle and well-mannered, Lin Junyi subconsciously felt that he had ill intentions. He had always regarded Lin Wanqing as his own, and would not tolerate any other man approaching her. However, when Lin Junyi saw that his sister was not very enthusiastic towards him, his jealousy quietly dissipated.

"Li Feng, Wanqing's senior at MIT." Li Feng, slightly embarrassed by being ignored, had to introduce himself. He extended his hand and shook Lin Junyi's hand with a smile.

Senior?

Needless to say, for Lin Junyi, who had university experience, the presence of a senior student around Lin Wanqing was unpleasant. Confused, he asked, "Isn't my sister at Harvard? Where did this MIT senior student come from?"

"MIT and Harvard have a cooperative exchange program. I'm the team leader for that program, and Wanqing is the Harvard vice-leader,"

Li Feng explained carefully. Understanding the close relationship between the young man and Lin Wanqing, Li Feng tried to be friendly, despite the other party's unfriendly tone.

However, Li Feng felt a sense of discomfort. The first time he met Lin Wanqing, this gentle and quiet girl had struck him as awe-inspiring. As the cooperative exchange program progressed, he came into contact with her more and more, and he had a vague feeling that Lin Wanqing wasn't your average international student.

She exudes a natural elegance and graceful manner, reminiscent of a daughter of an old-school British aristocratic family. However, Lin Wanqing has always been secretive about her family background. Li Feng, knowing only that she's from Hong Kong, knows nothing else about her.

While his return to China was partly due to his father's serious illness, it was also largely due to Lin Wanqing. Since Lin Wanqing abruptly withdrew from school a year ago, Li Feng hasn't heard from her, leaving him deeply concerned. He was thrilled to run into her upon returning to Hong Kong today, believing it to be a chance encounter. However, he was surprised that Lin Wanqing remained cold towards him, and to this day, he still hasn't even obtained her contact information.
