POV: Jasmine
He let his trousers fall freely, pooling around his feet as he walked out of them.
Alaric stood before me in his boxers, and Selene, I couldn't help but steal a glance at how packed up down there was.
I took a step back without thinking.
For some reason, I was nervous. And for other reasons, I realized Alaric had bought those toys for me… For us.
He reached for me, his large, warm palm closing around my trembling fingers, bringing them up to his lips. His mouth was so hot against my skin.
"Welcome to Maldives, baby," He said, his hungry eyes devouring every inch of my body, which was covered in nothing but the lingerie he had dressed me with.
"How… How did we get here? Can't remember landing," I swallowed, asking in a barely audible voice. Perhaps it was just the roaring of blood in my ears that made me not hear myself properly.
