The petite young Damselette took out a vermilion spear, the Staff of Homa, which was even taller than herself.
Then, she leaped down like a shooting star, landing safely beside the injured Yoimiya.
Yoimiya looked at the Damselette, who seemed even younger than herself, and couldn't help but ask, "Thank you for saving me, friend. I am Yoimiya."
Hu Tao looked down at the fallen Yoimiya. What she saw was a large expanse of snowy white skin peeking out from Yoimiya's loose top. Hu Tao subconsciously glanced at her own flat chest, and this sight dealt her a tremendous blow, instantly wiping away her good mood.
Hu Tao said irritably, "If you want to thank someone, thank the one watching from above. Yoimiya, right? What a pity, I thought you could be my client. Never mind, can you still stand up? If you can, take that little girl over there to a safe place. Leave this to me."
Yoimiya subconsciously wanted to nod, but then she was utterly shocked. What was this little sister saying? Was she going to take on these two Maguu Kenki by herself? However, seeing her relaxed and at ease demeanor, could it be that she had real skill?
She knew her own situation. Staying here would not help her; instead, she would become a burden. So, after thanking Hu Tao, Yoimiya struggled to her feet and moved towards Klee's direction.
On the way, Yoimiya couldn't help but turn around and remind Hu Tao, "Friend, these two puppet samurai are incredibly strong. You must be careful!"
In response, Hu Tao merely waved her hand dismissively and said, "Got it!"
Hu Tao slowly walked towards the two Maguu Kenki in front of her, twirling her spear as she went. The heavy Staff of Homa moved in Hu Tao's hands as if it were an extension of her arm.
Hu Tao turned to look at Zhongli, who was watching the show from a high vantage point, and shouted, "consultant!"
Upon hearing this, Zhongli's hands immediately glowed with the light of the Geo element. He waved both hands outwards and declared, "Aegis of the Stone!"
Immediately, a Jade Shield, identical to the one Klee and Yoimiya had earlier, appeared at Hu Tao's feet. Feeling the thick shield provided by her consultant, Hu Tao felt an unprecedented sense of security.
Hu Tao: "Spear opens the path to the Yellow Springs, butterflies guide to the bridge of the next life, rise!"
As soon as her words fell, Hu Tao's petite body instantly erupted with a massive surge of vital energy. With the blessing of her Pyro Vision, this vital energy greatly increased Hu Tao's ATK and flame intensity, making her seem like a completely different person from her original delicate image.
Then, Hu Tao's spear struck like a dragon, thrusting towards the Maguu Kenki. The terrifying force directly deflected the long sword in the Kenki's hand, and the Kenki's massive figure became like a small tree swaying in a storm under Hu Tao's fierce attack.
Even when the Kenki's clone's attacks landed on Hu Tao, the thick Jade Shield perfectly blocked all of them.
Yoimiya and Klee watched Hu Tao move in and out between the two Maguu Kenki with ease, utterly astonished. This was too fierce, wasn't it?
Klee's mouth dropped open as she said, "Sister Yoimiya, this big sister is so strong."
Yoimiya couldn't help but nod. They were all Pyro Vision wielders, yet she and Klee, despite their best efforts, hadn't gained much advantage against these puppet samurai. But this little girl in front of them could actually take on two at once, beating them back repeatedly.
The difference was too great, wasn't it?
Just then, Zhongli, who had been watching from above, appeared behind them at some point and asked with concern, "Are you two alright?"
Upon hearing this, Yoimiya disregarded her own injuries and knelt down to carefully check Klee for any wounds. The scene of flying rocks earlier was fresh in Yoimiya's mind, and she was terrified that Klee might have been injured.
Fortunately, Klee was mostly unharmed, with only a few bruises on her forearms and calves from the impact of shattered stones, not even a single cut.
However, the small dress she was wearing, her backpack, and Dodoco on her backpack weren't so lucky, being torn to shreds by the scattered debris.
Seeing that her best friend Dodoco had several holes, Klee was heartbroken, hugging Dodoco and crying with teary eyes.
Klee: "Sister Yoimiya, Dodoco... Dodoco is hurt."
Yoimiya looked at the severely damaged Dodoco and quickly comforted, "Klee, don't cry. Dodoco got hurt protecting Klee. Don't worry, when we get back, Sister Yoimiya will definitely help you heal Dodoco and give you a fully recovered Dodoco."
Listening to Sister Yoimiya's comfort, Klee then noticed that her Sister Yoimiya was covered in wounds, and the seeping blood had stained her originally winter cloud-colored clothes dark red.
Klee quickly took off her backpack and rummaged inside, muttering, "Sister Yoimiya, you're hurt! You need treatment right away, medicine... medicine..."
However, Klee went through her entire backpack, but other than bombs, there was no medicine inside.
Yoimiya: "Little Klee, it's okay. Sister Yoimiya has her hero form. These small injuries will heal quickly."
Klee said tearfully, "I'm sorry, Sister Yoimiya, it's all Klee's fault. Klee shouldn't have been disobedient."
Yoimiya hugged Klee, stroking her little head repeatedly. After Klee's emotions stabilized, she stood up again and thanked the young man, "Thank you for saving us, sir. If not for your help, Klee would surely have met a terrible end. Klee, quickly thank this uncle."
Klee, whose eyes were red from crying, looked even cuter. She said generously, "Thank you, Uncle, for saving Klee."
Zhongli: "Haha, it was nothing at all."
Yoimiya: "My name is Naganohara Yoimiya, the owner of Naganohara Fireworks in Inazuma City. This little girl is Klee. May I ask your esteemed name, sir?"
Zhongli: "My name is Zhongli, a consultant at the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor in Liyue. As for that one, she is the Director of our Wangsheng Funeral Parlor, Hu Tao."
Yoimiya: "Wangsheng Funeral Parlor?"
Zhongli: "The Wangsheng Funeral Parlor is an organization that handles funeral rites, aiming to ensure people's peaceful passage into the afterlife. Hmm... it's a business that deals with the deceased."
Yoimiya was clearly hearing about someone doing this kind of business for the first time. Wasn't this the work of shrine maidens? But then she remembered they were from Liyue, and she understood.
Yoimiya: "Thank you, Mr. Zhongli and Miss Hu Tao, for saving us. Yoimiya is deeply grateful. When I return to Inazuma City, I will surely prepare a generous gift to repay your life-saving kindness."
