"Is there a reunion of the Dravenmoor clan?" Mira asked. "I found this one lurking by the gate."
"Where's Shayra? Was she in any danger? I dreamt of her fighting another she-wolf."
"Shayri! What brings you here?" Shayra stepped out of the cottage when she saw the Blackthorn banner by the gate.
"Good. You're in one-piece. I sensed trouble last night—frustration, fear, and anger?" I came as fast as I could.
The hawk landed on Shayri's shoulder. If Sadhir's hawk was here, its master was not far behind.
"Well… well… well… Does Father know you're here?" Sadhir asked.
"I should be the one asking you the same," Shayri bluntly replied.
Shayri glared at Mira. "May we come in or do I need a password? Our horses need water and food after the long trip."
"Yes, my lady. I'll see to it. This way." Mira switched her tone, from playful to serious.
Tristan and Shannon overheard the commotion outdoors while they were checking the jammed gate of the second storehouse.
