Frank was taken aback.

Even Finlay disagreed. "Letting them go is like releasing a tiger! Cassius, Alex is the one who nearly killed you! Letting him go is too lenient."

"By releasing him, we shift from being reactive to proactive," Cassius replied. He then turned to Nevaeh. "What do you think?"

Called upon, Nevaeh's gaze fell on Cassius, filled with curiosity and admiration. She was captivated.

Having known him so long, she saw now he was an extraordinary man. Anyone else would have sought revenge. Yet Cassius was willing to let his enemy go to find the bigger threat.

Once Alex was free, the people in the shadows would reveal themselves.

It was a risky move, but it was the most direct and effective method.

Nevaeh looked at him with admiration, nodding. "I trust your judgment."

A smile crept onto Cassius's face. "Alright, let him go!"

"Alex can be released," Nevaeh interjected, "but can we wait two hours before letting Maria go? I have plans."
