"I still can't believe we finally get to enjoy the weekend with you, Evie," Eleur said, holding up a parasol to shield his sister from the afternoon sun.
"It feels like ages since we last had tea together," added Elsan, tucking Evie's arm through his with gentlemanly precision.
"I told you, you two were not invited!" Evie snapped, adjusting her afternoon hat with an annoyed scowl.
"If we're not invited, why is he here?" Eleur nodded toward Lemeric.
"Don't you usually stay at your residence in the capital on weekends? What a rare sight to see you on campus." Elsan added, pointingly.
"I was free," Lemeric replied simply, walking behind them with the picnic basket in hand already munching on the cookies Evie had carefully packed.
"I stand corrected. You three aren't invited," Evie huffed, turning her glare on him as well.
